What would you suggest an alternative to the Nordic Bow? because i currently don't have the Dragonborn DLC

The Elven bow is the best alternative. It has the same damage, you have the smiting perk, and it is only a little bit heavier.

Ebony is the same tier.  Just go with the best bow that's availible.  Early on, that's probably going to be Foresworn with Steel Smithing.  Then, just follow it through the tiers.  The Nightingale would be about perfect, but you still need a backup to use throughout the TG quest arc.

I also like the Gauldur Blackbow (Leveled) for shooting mages.  It goes right through Wards, and drains their Magicka so they are forced to close with a dagger in Robes.

Ebony and Nordic bows have different damage. Also ebony bows are too slow firing, it is all about the rate of fire here.

Nightingale bows do not not have the necessary enchantments and they do not benefit from smithing perks. Also the TG questline is massively breaking the roleplay.

The Gaulder Blackbow also does not have the necessary enchantments, and you can make a better enchantment yourself.

Remember to thoughly read a build before giving suggestions on it Psi.
