@Overhate Would it help you to know that I also have a stamina sorcerer who wears heavy in pve? Actually, it's for pvp but I'm too lazy to carry 2 sets of gear so I quest in pve in heavy armor. He's a sorc so no class-based heals. He's an Orc so no race base heals. I use Rally because its a strong HOT with a strong burst heal at the end and Vigor - a stamina heal. He carries the title Daedric Lord Slayer, Dungeon Maurauder, and Hero of the Dominion. Would you like me to upload a video of how he manages combat? But I doubt you would. You just want to blame the game for your own combat problems. It's okay, I understand. It's easier. But know this, if you peruse the forums in the hybrid and non-conventional builds threads, literally no one shares your complaint.

@Zonnonn I'm with you. Skyrim VR doesn't appeal to me. I want them to stop milking the cow and develop TES6.

Lol, Pat, I think it would be useful for you to review our previous conversation. ;)

I never criticized how things were prior to the Morrowind expansion, my concerns were with some of the proposed changes. Pre-Morrowind I had no problems soloing dungeon bosses too.

Either way, I'm not going to further derail this thread. I offered you help - you chose to deny that help and blame the game. No problem. My only parting advice to you is either learn to play (which means adapt and overcome to the new patch notes, as have many others with unconventional builds) or quit the game and play something easier for you.

LoL, cut down the arrogance, man. I was just discussing some issues. You're no teacher and I'm no student, in fact I'm probably a much more experienced gamer than you. And I've played games far harder than ESO ;)

But since you ask so nice, I'm going to play something easier now, if that makes you feel better :P

Nah, not arrogant. Facts look like arrogance to people who won't accept them. I'm quite sure I'm older than you and have a longer gaming history. But, there's really no need to pull out your resume is there? If you've played games that are harder, than you shouldn't be having such issues, especially since there are countless threads about how easy the Overland content is in this game.

On a happier note, Nintendo is coming out with some great games you might be interested in playing. ;) Tune in to their E3 conference.

Nah, arrogance has nothing to do with facts, it has to do with acting like an authority on a game who's trying to teach the woeful ignorants how to play.

Just look at your language. "I offered you help" - I never asked for help, I was just discussing issues. What you offered was an opinion - your opinion - on those issues. And while I always welcome valuable opinions of other experienced gamers, to call that "help" is arrogance.

My issues were never with the game being hard, they were with it being poorly designed. Being good in a game means nothing if you have to play in a way that does not bring you any pleasure. After all, games are for fun.

You disagree and think it's not poorly designed - fine, let's agree to disagree on this topic.

As for your note, I play only on PC, so Nintendo, PS or Xbox games are hardly of any interest to me.

Fair enough. I was remembering our previous conversation where you were concerned about your post-patch survivability. As I predicted, post-patch survivability is not an issue. Survivability, outside of group content, is not particularly difficult in this game.

As for "offering help" - that's what I do as host of the ESO Group. I have offered - and provided - help to many others on this site. Ask them if it was worthwhile or not. I offered you help on your supposed survivability issues, based on what you said previously. And, yeah, unsolicited offers are made all the time in this world.

I have been critical of game design on the offiicial forums, so I'm not blind to its imperfections. However, to say that "the game" is poorly designed is not just my opinion. It's hyperbole.

But either way, I'm willing to accept your olive branch.

Something more interesting that Skyrim on the Switch? I thought that if that couldn't convince me to fork out for one, nothing would, but I'm happy to be surprised. Just as long as its not one of their old titles, never could get into that.

Fine - let there be peace :P

PS. Of course it's a hyperbole. I always talk in hyperboles, if you haven't noticed :P

PPS. I still haven't played post last patch so I really don't know if my survivability fears are real or not. I was merely amused that you, the ardent defender of the game, have issues with the game mechanics and decided to joke about it. Clearly a bad idea in hindsight :P
