The one trapped in the cage in a Haggraven's cave?

    Yes.

Really late to this conversation, but another instance of wind/air connection with the Spriggans, is that

According to Skaal legend, the Spriggans of  Solstheim came into being when the All-Maker breathed life into the land, and his Breath blew through the trees.

'Breath' is mainly associated with Kynareth/Kyne, right? Different mythology, and yet even the Skaal associate Spriggans with wind.

I'm gonna just toss out a terrible theory, but could it be Y'ffre's influence being very strong in Valenwood the reason behind the Valenwood Spriggans being so well behaved?

As I see it, Spriggans are a kind of forest spirits. They are tied to forests, not to the wind. But, again, in the Northern regions the weather influences the living beings much stronger.

And the Skaal are still Nords.

But you are most likely right about Valenwood Spriggans.

I must also agree to this, learning more about Altmer culture is always exciting. Although, it seems we lack many Breton articles as of late. ;)

It's odd, yes... I mean, maybe because they are more like parasites to the plants, it would be more of a matter of necessity for the forest to prevail, I suppose. I mean, if they damage the forest itself, they could be dangerous for what the Green Pact tries to protect.

But always remember... They are murderers!

I meant weird because they "look" like plants. Would make sense if used to also defend the forests they live in (since one of their towns being an actual tree) and like other parasites, they harm what they are in contact with. Also would make sense since they avoid corpses to decompose in their lands, so eating what remains of them would help.

You have to realise that mushrooms aren´t exactly plants. They are type of fungus, so it certainly doesn´t go against Green Pact to use them.

Yes. But on old discussions some members didn't agree with me on that, hence the "looks". Anyways, is good to know I can work alchemy with fungus and animal parts and not be too gymped as a Green Pact-following Wood Elf

There is actually an "Alchemy Guide for the Green Pact Bosmer" somewhere floating around the net, I use it on my character Tavareth. =) I'll see if I can find it again and forward it to you.
