Dealing with inconsistencies: Clan Volkihar

  • September 10, 2015
So Harkon, Serana, and Valerica only took the name Volkihar? Where do they fit in? Thanks for the explanation. That's what I thought you meant, I just wanted to make sure.

    Time to necro this puppy.

Question, I don't have ESO, so I don't care about spoilers. If we are gonna go with Interregnum for Serana's entombing, are there any members of the Volkihar clan in ESO? Is Harkon there? You'd think he'd help daddy Bal out on his master plan. Or not... he's a bit of an asshat.

Do any of the clans join up with Molag Bal?

We know, at least, Lamae Beolfag is there, but she's the only clan I know of

Intriguing, was she created recently, or head of a long-standing clan? She is the first made, I'd be very curious. She was a priestess of Arkay, if I am remembering my ES lore correctly, so she is after his turning into a god. Lol, just part of my quest to establish a "logical" time frame.

Lamae is head of her own clan, Scion of the Bloodmatron

Thanks. Based on what I've read, she wasn't loving Molag Bal or Arkay very much. No, the origin of Harkon, Valerica, and Serana's vampirism is a more voluntary thing. They worshiped Molag Bal, whereas Lamae was unwilling.

EDIT: Bleh, first interregnum, not second. LOL, I make myself crazy sometimes.

Seriously first and second interregnum? Lissette, go get more caffeine in you, girl. LOL

But there were two parts in history besides prior to the Alessian empire where there is not really an empire in Cyrodiil.

1E 2331 - 2703 - From end of Alessian to beginning of Reman's Cyrodiil (second empire)

2E 430 - 854 - From end of the Akaviri Potentate to Tiber

Just me musing right now.  Sorry for the craziness.

Don´t forget the gap between Ysgramor´s Nordic Empire and Allessian Empire.

    Between 1E 416 to 1E 2243.

Serana talks about an empire in Cyrodiil not Skyrim. The Allessian Order lasts for over 2000 years, depending on the Dragon Break, which we don't really need to get into. Why would she be surprised that an empire exists if it already exists.? The Allesian empire was established cir 1e 243, not 1e 2243. Skyrim is not undergoing a war of succession in 1e 243, which is something she also talks about. I sent you a PM, LOL.

Damn. For some reason, I thought that Allessian Empire was founded in the second milenium of First Era. Could one Empire really last for two thousand years?
