What do we know in concrete about the Lilmothiit? It's never completely specified they were wiped out, was it?

I'm going to weigh in with a slightly different perspective than the above. I'd say in any of the sources there is nothing concrete. I've met Lady Laurent and am convinced she is as capable of finding a tribe of nomadic Lilmothiit as I am of finding a yeti. Hell, for all our scholarly leanings, up until recently we didn't know there were islands called Betnikh, Bleakrock, or Khenarthi's Roost - for shame, Imperial Geographical Society, for shame!

    Lawrence Schick says:

Well ... sad thing about the Lilmothiit [Lill-moth-eat]. I regret to say, they-they seem to have all succumbed with the Kothringi to the Knahaten Flu. So, hmm, I wouldn't, uh, hold my breath, as it were, waiting for the fox-folk to step on the stage. As for the Imga of Valenwood, I believe at present they're employing their time-tested strategy of hiding out during periods of warfare until the strife is safely over. Oh, my, these are easy ones. Next!

Phrastus of Elinhir could write an essay on how dead the fox-men are, but it'd be about a week later when we read Lady Cinnabar of Taneth refuting every assertion he makes. It's funny how he mentions Imga. We know they exist, we know where they are. Ever seen one? Karver mentions above how TES normally deals with lost races, and we have examples of "the last xyz" turning up in-game. We meet the last Dwemer, the last Ayleid, and the last Snow Elf, all somehow still with us due to some metaphysical cop-out. Even so, barring the Dwemer, we can find room for these lost races to still exist somewhere. The sources hold mentions of sightings of Wild Elves within Cyrodiil, and fans went nuts at the hint of Snow Elf enclaves.

My point, I guess, is that I trust Lady Clarisse and the Imperial Geographical Society as much as I trust Narsis Dren. When the lore sources throw up barriers of half-assed and vague rumours, the fun to be had is finding out how so very wrong they are.

Hey people just a quick question, the temples called School of Julianos should still exist during the events of Skyrim right? I have kinda tied one of my character's roleplay to Julianos so I wanted to be sure :P

As far as I'm aware there would be no reason for them not to be there. Granted we haven't actually seen one in ages but I can't remember reading anything about them being disbanded so you're probably alright. It would suck to be corrected on this.

@Teineeva - Yeah I also think that they are there since faith in Julianos still exists in Cyrodiil, Skyrim and High Rock at least and it just so happened thet there wasn't much need or interest from bethesda to tell anything more on them rather than that they are temples dedicated to Julianos. Still I find them highly interesting for temples since they are like academies and promote study and research on many subjects such as philosophy, magic etc and they even have a knightly order established within the temples.

Hey guys, anyone here know if slavery or indentured servitude is a thing in Hammerfell?

@Chris Probably not. Maybe at one point in history, of course; pretty much everyone took slaves at some point. But by the Third Era, only Dunmer enslaved races acknowledged to be sentient, with the Altmer enslaving goblins instead. And by the events of Oblivion, the Dunmer at least formally gave it up. Not saying that it doesn't exist; it's just historical, or people outside of the law. It helps that the Third Empire made it illegal, if I recall (with Morrowind being an exception because of the Armstice).

The day has finally come. May it be remembered that today is the day, where I, Teineeva, Host of the Lore group shut down the illustrious AYLQH Thread. If you have Lore related questions I would love for you to ask them here: http://tamrielvault.com/groups/topic/view/group_id/1/topic_id/9437

From now on, unless I decide differently, this topic will be locked but will remain available as a source of knowledge and insight into the past of the Lore Group.
