    Excellent questions, both of you. Quite frankly, there are no hard-and-fast policies for ESO builds, but now that the game is starting to find some traction here on the Vault, I might as well get to the task. Later today or earlier tomorrow, I will post a discussion on the subject seeking some general input from the community. I will provide a general framework but the discussion will, hopefully, fill in the gaps and make it a community project of sorts.

    @DB, I think a progression build is a do-able prospect. Since most on the Vault are, generally, newcomers to the game, it does no good to post an end-game build without a sense of progression on how to get to the end game. In fact, the most common complaint I hear from newbies is that YouTube and other sources fail to explain what to do and how to enjoy the game at lower levels. It's so easy to lose sight of how much there is to do in this game in the mad dash to get to level 50. What you propose seems to address that problem.

    I agree with that. I've looked a few times, in vain, for Character Builds and, as you say, it all seems to be about blasting through to end game. What I need is more help about how to set up at the start, how to role play (NOT power game) through the levels so that it becomes an enjoyable and engaging experience with the quests, the story, the lore - not just racing to get to Level 50.

    I look forward to the discussion Patriarch - perhaps the Vault can develop this concept into something that is a bit unique in the ESO community? This could help us to find a niche for ESO as more and more players latch onto the fact the ESO has really matured into a great game.

    Wow man that would be great, yes  youtube is full of quality builds and some of the best come from Deltiasgaming.com (small plug there lol) but the lack of direction, particularly for newbies, is plain to see, ESO is a wonderful game rich in Lore, the scenery and graphics are astounding the gameplay is as  fast and furious as you care to make it, however, a little direction on just what to do and where to go, where to place attribute points, it's not as straightforward as some may think including  me Patriarch if I can be of service please ask.

    After being out of town, unexpectedly, for work since Friday, it was good to log into ESO last night.

    @Bonelord:  I sent you an invite to the Fathers of the Dominion guild. If you accept, which I hope you do, jump on Chat 1 (assuming oyu have a mic) and introduce yourself. I consider this to be my main guild. The good people in the guild taught me nearly everything I know about the game. They took my in as a young whelp and helped me a long. In addition to yours truly, the guild has a ton of master crafters that will craft you amazing gear, food, and potions for FREE. They may, however, ask you to provide them with the materials is they don't have enough on hand. But, even then, others in the guild will send you the materials if you don't have what is needed.

    Also, here's a link to our Band: http://band.us/n/a3a7T6ieY2933. In case you don't know, Band can be accessed through desktop or mobile app and gives us a way to communicate with each other outside of the game. It's not necessary to use but nice.

    @Bonelord and @RogueSilver

    Let me know when you guys are available to group up this week or weekend. We can do whatever you guys want

    @RogueSilver

    I'm still working on getting you an invite to Deltia's guild. It's full, currently, as soon as someone drops out, you're in. Are you a parent? If so, I can invite you (as I did for Bonelord) to the guild I mentioned above. If not, no worries.

    Good to hear from you, Pat. Hopefully, we'll be able to do some questing this weekend. I'm not sure what kind of guild requires to know whether or not you're a parent, but that is one thing I am not. :p

    There are tons of guilds for all stations of life, bro. Parents tend to have other contraints which limits their time online. As a result, a guild for parents is a bit more casual and does not demand a certain level of participation.

    I've seen guilds for women, guilds for guys, guilds for parents (other than the one mentioned above), guild for people over age 18 (for that matter, guilds for people over 50!), guilds for LBGTQ, guilds exclusively for solo players (believe it or not), guilds for only lesbians, etc, etc, etc. A game this large will create multiple, diverse communities.

    I cannot for the life of me understand why the hell there would be a solo guild. More importantly, is there a guild for wine? In all seriousness, I can see the purpose for a specific guild, it does make sense as far as time participation goes.

    I know the lady that started the solo guild, the Nightshade Consortium. She made it to be mainly a resource for solo player, such as bank space, a guild trader, crafting materials, etc, and if anyone needed help with difficult content.

    But is it really solo if you're recieving items from fellow guild members? These are questions that make me wonder too much.
