    You just blew my mind.

Maybe this was how Skyrim was meant to be played?

It's situational at best. You'd have to wait 60 seconds for the full effect of MFD and also have to carry objects to throw at them, you certainly would be hard pressed to use this as a combat tactic in real time.

What I was doing was wait for the full MFD effect then drop a few daggers that I was carrying and use those. Using slowtime before throwing them allows them to travel much farther and straighter allowing you to hit them from a farther location, possibly remaining hidden. I tried to get sneak attack to trigger but couldn't, would be hilarious if you could get that to work.

If you really wanted to make a non-archery assassin work then perhaps this is viable. Would love the hell out of a build that integrates it well. P.S. For those that don't know, telekinesis is flat damage. Single cast does 5 damage and dual does 10 per item, this damage is affected by difficulty. It doesn't matter what you use, the damage is always 5 & 10.

You can also combine MFD with fall damage. If you knock an enemy off a hill that does damage but not necessarily kill them, after MFD it will likely be certain death. I didn't use it much but I believe it can be combined with the cyclone shout that picks enemies up and drops them for damage, that damage should be affected by MFD.

I've gotta try it. I'd love to kill someone by launching a skull at their face! I'll post my results back here. :D

This is perfect! I'm working on a build that centers around the Ebony Blade, but I found myself getting wailed on even by lowlifes in the Ratways when I first got it--started dumping points into enchanting to buff my character, but it really didn't feel right. I read this and immediately got one of the MFD shouts and tested it by clearing out the Dark Brotherhood sanctuary to feed the blade--it's definitely a game-changer.

I'm scrapping the build and revamping it with MFD in conjunction with the blade... it's going to be a blast to play now.

Thanks for your work and testing.

(I'm also looking forward to your unarmed build)

Do you have any idea if the Bladesman series of perks will be more viable with this shout? I ask because as we know the Bladesman perk only works off of the base damage of the weapon, which is a fraction of total damage at high levels. Nothing modifies these numbers, so even if you're doing 300 damage per hit "normally", a critical hit would still only do an additional 3 to 10.5 points of damage.

Would Marked for Death be a unique situation in which the critical damage would actually increase?

MFD is a straight modifier for all phhysical damage.  I didn't test it but I would assume (99.9% confident) that it will boost critical damage; It doesn't boost bonebreaker and bleed damage because they are not counted as physical damage.

I doubt Critical Damage would be counted as physical. It's already a fraction of the overall damage but to apply AR to that damage? I think the only good thing about Critical Damage would be dealing it as a spell. Just like Bleed damage but all at once.
