Cause he used every other heavy armor type except daedric and you wouldn't wear that as a paladin. He needed to use dwarven somehow

Because the Aetherial Shield is really important to the build and it probably wouldn't match with Ebony.

Got a new idea:  The Alterater of Aetherius. (Be prepared for a wall of text, no screenys or images)

The Alterater of Aetherius is a holy paladin devoted to rooting out evil. But he focuses on witches, hagravens and Necromancers more than the undead and bandits because they give magic a bad name. The Alterater wields more of a magical prowess than martial. Although he still will root out undead but they are a second priority.
Race: I would say an Altmer, Breton or Imperial would be good.
Stats: 3 Magicka I 2 health I 2 stamina - The Alterater prefers to use magic at a distance and will tend to often not get hit. This is why I put 3 magicka.

Bonus skill(s): The Alterater goes more in depth with Alteration but since alteration is already part of the skill set we use destruction.

Skill drop: Block.Given an alterater fights spell and sword he does not need block.

Patron: There is not specific patron but Akatosh and Julianos are good patrons because they are magic associated.

Gear: Custom enchanted Steel plate or Ebony armour/Gauntlets/Boots, Apprentice hood, Amulet of Julianos/Akatosh, Dawnbreaker, Blades sword and custom enchanted necklace and ring, Very heavy warhammer also.

Gameplay: Open up combat by either firing a barage of lightning, throwing the warhammer with telekinessis or with a paralysis spell (If possible). Once the gap is closed throw on a lightning cloak and attack them with your blade. If you are feeling overwhelmed, whirlwind sprint away and heal up. Don't forget to use become etheral and unrelenting force. If you have dragonborn you can replace lighting cloak with a wind cloak. If you are fighting a large amount of enemies, use chain lightning to thin out groups. Paralysis should only be used on boss enemies such as bandit cheifs, master necros that sort of thing.

What's the point of throwing the warhammer? Also it seems quite similar to the Justicar of Julianos

True, but the knight of Kyne and guardian of the north are similar, you even said the perk spread is almost the same.

Ponty the point in throwing the warhammer is because telekinesis dishes out more damage depending on the weight.

@ScoutMo The unfortunate thing is that it's a huge waste of magicka, you can do the same thing with lightning spells in less time, less menu switching, and less magicka
