Does the getav damageresist take into the account the skill level of the actor in the armor, or does it show the base AR.

Because if it is the base AR that might explain it and you would have to take into account the skill level in light armor or whatever he is wearing.

Dragon Aspect's extra power attack damage works just as expected, and multiplies everything (well, I seem to be doing a bit more damage than I'd think, but that's probably due to Skyrim rounding some numbers, as Nikolaj had suggested earlier).  So it's:

Weapon damage x 2 (power attack) x 1.25 (Dragon Aspect PA bonus) x 1.2 (vs. Elves).

Multiply by 1.25 *again* if you've got Devastating Blow and do a standing power attack.

I have to say, though, I'm incredibly impressed with Elemental Fury under the effect of Dragon Aspect - Wuuthrad swings insanely fast with both of those going!

In terms of later-game viability, I'm now at level 41, and killed Karstaag last night with Wuuthrad in just a couple of minutes.  I really wasn't sure how that fight was going to go, since I'd never fought him before.  But Dragon Aspect + Marked for Death + some blocks, bashes, and power attacks finished him off surprisingly quickly!  The biggest problem was him ragdolling me around a couple of times, but apart from that it went much better than I thought it would.

My guess is, the displayed value does take skill into account, because my numbers recently have been coming out in a pretty predictable way.

It's got to be said that Paul and Nic did a grand job on this, paving the way for some righteous Elf-Hewing.
