You keep saying this. A new TES game is not due to come out for a while...possibly a long while yet.  Therefore, the EC needs to brainstorm ways to bring some healthy, creativity-inspiring, fun-inducing, competitive events.

And people will continue to not care as long as people come here and talk about people not caring.

I think from my perspective that community participation isn't something that can be judged on just one poll. There are guys here, Shinjin, Lis, Dallan, me to name a few who would participate in events or discussions once the ball starts rolling, you know? So while we may have different opinions on how to get there, the important thing is that we will get there. Vargr sounds like he has good ideas, and putting them to practice is what matters. To start an avalanche sometimes just needs someone to nudge a snowball. Can't be predicted what will happen, but not nudging it guarantees no avalanche. I am excited for the next few weeks and months, and can't wait to see the theories discussed here actualized.

Pat - Yes, and a new game will help bring it back. I have no doubt the EC has ideas. Vargr putting out a poll shows some people do care, as do I. Glad you are on board! And I didn't mean to bring up the views or votes as a way to shun the idea. Just something to take into consideration. We can try whatever because we got the time and anything that is tried will most likely have a positive backing. I just wanted to throw in the concept that we would be going down an odd path if we are trying to recreate what happened after the release of Skyrim. Something fresh needs to happen and I don't think ranks will do it.
