Event Build: The Mechanical Artificer

    Hmmm... I never take Varric along. Normally, I ditch him for Sera as soon as humanely possible, but I do actually like this build. It's cool and gizmo-y, but what is with people making awesome builds based on canon I dislike? I just might have to steal that late-game armor combo off you, though, it looks freaking awesome and dark.

    Note to self, no longer talk to Eluysium..ever. Okay in all seriousness thatnks for liking and commenting (even if you apparently don't like Varric)and thanks for mentioning that armour combo, I felt it fit so very well with the character and qutie well with DA:I's idea of Rogue Armour.

    Eh DB wonderful build couple things though you might want to go with a different picture for the equipment spread some of the equipment and text is hard to see. Also I love your style with the quotes next to ever aspect of the build. One more thing I personally love this build because my event build is also a new spell user that is heavily reliant on spells that's all I will say for now but I love seeing how you used no magic too but yet our builds are soooo different it's what I love about this blog. Sorry I'm rambling awesome build + 1

    Okay, what is wrong with Sera? She, Dorian, and Iron Bull are my main party. (I am aware no one in my party is straight...)

    That armor is unbelievably cool and I'm really surprised no stealthy rogue builds have used it yet. I also really like the voice that permeates the build, like telling a story. It's a neat idea.

    Damn you Ning, I had a great response and you had to eat it up. Anyway to narrow it down thanks for your comments (and the like), I'm glad you liked the quotes and that someone else has mentioend the Magic thing, I've never played a 0 magicka build before that can still fling spells around as part of it's main offense and it was a lot of fun. Oh and the next bit was me being pumped for your build now, I can't wait to see what it turns out like.

    Sera was interesting enough and is a fun character I just have an odd liking for Varric's sarcastic wit, which is very similar to my own. I thought telling a story would tie so well into Varric and couldn't resist, I might try this again one day, it was more fun to write (and play) then any buiild I've done before.

    Very well written backstory. I found the limited magic angle to be very interesting.

    It appears the Artificer is so close to "levelling up" that it requires a second look. I think what I like most (after the in-universe style of delivery) is that it is honest about it's weaknesses. The way the Artificer deals with dragons makes me smile each time I read it.

    Thank you Phil, I'm glad that you like the Combat against Dragons (if it can be called that) as that was something that made it that little bit more interesting. Thanks for the comment and the Like from before, I hope it can level up.

    YES!!! VARRIC WAS MY FAVORITE CHARACTER IN DRAGON AGE! I love this build. Because of this, I need to make a Cole! Also what event is this? I wanna join
