100% sure it had nothing to do with perks.  I didn't have necromage and I didn't have any points in destruction at all...Can't think of anything else that would boost dawnbreaker damage. I tested it out by getting dawnbreaker as soon as I could, and became a Vampire, and the explosions barely damaged me...then on another character got it much later in the game, and took out a nice chunk of my health in one swing.  I don't know if this has been fixed in patches so it isn't leveled now or what, as I have the earliest version of it that I play on most of the time (can fly through smithing with iron daggers compared to what my friend needs, lol)

I'm a bit late to the party, but yes, the mace isn't leveled. It has 16 base damage, same as daedric mace, and it can be improved with an ebony ingot but it does not benefit from any smithing perks. This means that you can't get it past flawless without bypassing the 100 smithing cap.

So the enchant doesn't get better if you get the weapon at level 40 vs getting it at level 1? That makes it super OP early on and kinda meh later.  Especially once you get used to being so strong early on.

And Ben, the character wasn't bugged.  I've recreated the effect several times thinking the same thing...the enchant (not the base damage) was enhanced that much by getting it at level 25-30 instead of level 10-12...

That's strange. From what I know, none of the Daedric artifacts are leveled. And also, the Augmented Flames perk somehow affects the mace's enchantment. It can increase its damage up to 37 with both perks taken.

Like I said earlier, this might be because of the version of the game...this is before any updates...bought on release day and never updated.  I never ran the tests on my PS3, which is updated to current version.

Damage Stamina is flagged as fire damage, thus the perks boost it.

After looking it up, I see a few people that had the same thing happening to them, but it also looks like it was taken out during the first patch or so...I need to run the tests again tonight on my PS3 to see for myself.  Would be a relief to know that artifacts aren't leveled after all.

Great build, as always! I personally like your color transitions, but I can see why others might have difficulty with it.

    +1 from me.

Huh. I think it would make more sense for it to be considered frost damage, but oh well.
