Fur Helmet looks pretty good, kinda like a hat thing, and would count towards Custom Fit, but not Matching Set, since Saviour's Hide doesn't have matching armour. Another option would be the Stormcloak Officer Helmet, which looks like a bear and matches pretty well, but again wouldn't benefit from Matching Set, just Custom Fit.

Ive looked at both, and don't like either with it - the Savior's Hide and Old God's equipment are both tan in color, the Fur Helmet is a light brown/white mix, and the Stormcloak Officer Helmet is a black bears head... so neither of them look any good to me. I'm not concerned about the Matching Set, since Savior's doesn't fit in the category as the rest.. however, the Unhindered, Wind Walker, and Deft Movement - which all require a 4 piece set (Helm, Chest, Hands, Feet)

Since Light Armor is light, the Unhindered isn't as needed, just allows for a little extra. The stamina regen by 50% would be nice, since I zoom in with the bow a lot (Archer's Focus - Eagle Eye perk) and the 10% chance to avoid all damage from a melee or ranged attack would be nice, for the few times bears, sabres, trolls and mammoths get to close.

You can try Volsung, Krosis or Wooden Mask if you're not opposed to Dragon Priest masks. There is also Skaal Hat you can try if you have Dragonborn DLC, as well as Chitin Light Helmet

Chitin is worse than the forsworn, Volsung, Krosis or Wooden might not be bad, but would personally prefer without the masks - seeing as a mask would get in the way of seeing clearly. Skaal Hat might be the best bet, but I believe it's just like the fur helmet...

Wanting a helmet that fits the hunter role-play, as well as matches the armor, as most hunters would use mostly the same hides to fashion their armor, thus making it look alike. Only helmets that I know of that actually fit the role-play, with looking like it's made from fur/hide, would be the Fur Helmet, Skaal Helmet, and Stormcloak Officer Helmet.. Fur and Skaal are light brown and white, and the officer is black.

Also, for the officer, have to do the war quests, which involves a lot of killing, which I'm opposed to on this role-play character, only killing I'll do is as a werewolf, and since some of the Imperial/Stormcloak quests require killing in cities (late in the quests) I'm not inclined to run through a major city as a werewolf.

But if this is the case, looks like the only way for me to go with the Unhindered, Wind Walker and Deft Movement perks is by ditching the Savior's Hide and Old Gods equipment, and picking up a different set such as fur.. or going with the Forsworn helmet, which matches the Savior's + Old Gods equipment, just don't personally like the looks of it to much. The antlers + the bone spikes in the front are a bit much..

Personally, I usually go with what looks good and fit my light armor perks to match. There have been many times I wound up taking just 5/5 in the first perks and left the rest so I could wear what I want. I have even been known to mix in some cloth. With a bow, you aren't going to be getting up close and personal that often anyway. I have even skipped light armor perks all together and was fine. Especially if you take the sneak route.

Yeah, using the sneak route, but until later in the game, 15-25, I can't kill a bear, sabre, troll or mammoth with only 1-3 shots unless I'm using a crossbow - unless I can get a shot off from max range and hit on the first shot, I'm normally unable to kill a bear before it comes in to close, especially cave/snow bears.

Actually, you don't have to do the Civil War questline to get the Officer's set. If you side with Ralof during Unbound, you can kill Captain Valmir at Forelhost for it.

Well done. Love the build. To go for a gameplay that matches the limits of the real world, you have separated from the main herd of builds. :D

Just one thing: I would personally go for the Skaal Armor. Yes, you cannot upgrade the fur and leather at a grindstone, and yes, it doesn't have any magical buffs to it, but in terms of realism, it's the best the game has for your hunter aesthetic. In the real world, our hunter-gatherer ancestors didn't start smithing until relatively recently in history. Oh, and if we want to experience the world of Skyrim, even coming to grips with its climate, the Skaal clothing would be better suited, than, say, those skimpy Forsworn clothes or the Savior's Hide.

But, I digress. In Skyrim, the civilized towns and cities have the resources for smithing, but if you want to play a character that lives in the wild, he wouldn't have the time or interest for heating metals together in huge cauldrons of intense heat; much hotter of a fire than one is capable of making out in the forest.

But great build. I am playing this asap. :)

I just realized I typed *grindstone. Correction: I meant to type in *workbench.
