And to add to this, apparently I have the atronach summons glitch, but only on staves. So, if Urag uses staves to save his magicka, his summons won't always work, and they don't replenish the magicka as per the Atronach glitch. If he uses magicka to cast summons, he is successful 100% of the time, but, he depletes his magicka. An interesting dynamic and finally a build for me where Mori tapanella and red mountain flower are important. LOL

Level 24, about to enter Fellglow keep with this mess of a mage.

PS: I gotta also think of a name for this puppy. The "True Atronach" glitch?

That sounds perfect. Just remember that I want an equal share of it and as such half of whatever you make from it :P

Out of curiosity I tested it with a level 1 Altmer to try and see why I couldn't get it to work on my event build save. It worked, so I have no idea...

Just tested it and Highborn refilled my magicka but once the effect had ended I was back to no magicka regen. My guess is that since Highborn multiplies your magicka regen by some absurd amount it was enough to counteract the effect of witbanes and the atronach.

This is very interesting and potentially creates an awesome roleplay opportunity. Like Magicka regen only in great times of need. Very cool possibilities.

Breakfast aside, the very idea of that is making me salivate.

Well, he survived The Caller, so I feel pretty good. Was forced to traing Conjuration and Alteration a tad as they are just not leveling as fast because I have to be extremely careful when and where I cast. Best part is when you see a mage and you need your magicka. come heeeeeet meeee, come heeeet me, here I am, here I am, yes, that felt good. :D

Did a regen test with Morokei and master robes of Alteration (made a save and consoled them in to test and then went back to my save when I was satisfied) and... nada. Zip, nothing. Waited like three days and no regen. So, I felt good about getting Urag some robes to reduce the cost of Alteration without me worrying about fudging up his regen. Ended up with Adept, as I had about 25,000 septims saved up. That paid for some later level training with Tolfdir and Phinis Gestor, the Expert Robes and an Adept Hood. He's at level 26 now and I feel I can probably head over to Solstheim and mess around with Neloth and maybe read books I shouldn't read. lol
