Classics Faction Profiles

  • October 21, 2015

I mean, do you need a group of 5 people, or could I make a faction profile by myself?

Yeah you are right. For some reason I always really liked the idea of some of the higher up Breton nobility being secret mer sympathizers, having secret illuminati style Auriel cults and stuff

You can totally make your own faction profile.

I made this just to find if people are interested. Also I want opinions on what Faction would they want for the first Profile. So we´ll basically come up with Faction depending on people opinions.

I think I'd like to start with Oblivion because I haven't played Morrowind much.

A custom faction would be fine, or established. Finding a "base" area could be cool if we go for custom.

I'd prefer a magic-based faction, I've never used staves much but I'd like to. A knight/mercenary would be fine, as would a religious one I suppose.

Ranks and Specializations would both be cool I think, but maybe not a ton of Specializations.

Quests.....I dunno. I haven't put an enormous amount of time into Oblivion besides with the main quests, so I guess I'm not sure. Maybe a daedra hunting thing? Or just killing vampires or bandits?

The only problem would be that I'm on console so I can't do a screenshot of the completed contract, like I saw was going on in the other Faction things in the RP group.

Magic oriented Faction sounds interesting too. Though Daedra hunting is quite difficult, because there are only few places where you can find Daedra without doing the main quest. Though Conjurers are quite common, as well as Necromancers.

I would worry about those screenshots right now. We´ll figure it out later.

You all have good ideas, guys. I think I´ll end up using some of these ideas, but note that I´m trying to find a Faction with almost no restrictions. Something really neutral that almost any character can join and complete "quests" without problems.

So far there are suggestions for: Religious order, assassins/infiltrators, magic-based faction and my merchant-type faction. I will try to put all these things into one Faction, but you know that I can´t fit everything into that.
