I love the style, humour, and Khajiit - who doesn't love pussy? It must be a real slog to do, but I think it's an awesome way of telling a story. Good stuff, Ian, keep it going as long as you can as it has become a highlight of my site visits :)

Thanks, Phil! It's actually not a slog at all; it's great fun! At least at the moment.

Now that Calambar is done, I moved on to the final subzone, Vafe (not Vape). Near Quendelunn, however, I found the stone of The Lover. This is a Mundus Stone, and they all have special effects that are permanent until you get another effect. The Lover increases Spell Resistance, which is nifty.

Whether or not the rock bestows skill at lovemaking remains to be seen.

Upon arrival at Dawnbreak, everything is not OK, just as I thought back at Skywatch. Namely, Estre arrived and summoned some Daedra to destroy the town. This would be more surprising if she didn't name-drop Mehrunes Dagon during the Skywatch quest, but it's still unexpected. Go rescue some villagers, making sure to use the Persuade and Intimidate perks. Also, if you're not bothered by such things as morals, feel free to loot their homes for goodies. I got the Redguard crafting style, which was cool.

Then, go back to the Captain, who thanks you. And then the Daedra attack again! So, your new task is to help the marines kill them off. Though they didn't really seem to need your help in older versions, considering they took no damage from their attacks (in mainstream ES games, they'd be essential). Alas, this has been fixed, so double-time it and whack the Daedra attacking the Marines. Then, go to the cave, where the Captain tells you to whack the boss Daedra, so go do that. While there, overhear Estre gloat about attacking Firsthold, so that's our next stop! In theory at least.

I went and read a book instead.

I have yet to meet anyone who confuses Aedra with Daedra, but whatever.

That's all for this post! Thanks for reading.

After the dissapointingly-short last post, I actually got a RL volunteer job, so expect updates to Rahzam's journey to be a bit less frequent. But, I'm here now! Time for more madness and chaos! And saving the world. Of course. I began at the ruins of Bewan, which are close to Dawnbreak. Immediately upon entering, you see a Maormer totem, which is never good news.

    Not Slytherins, I swear.

Sure enough, Bewan is full of the Sea Elves. Also, you'll find Beddi, a ghost that got killed by them and is stuck due to a bet. Apparently, she and her friend sealed the bet with magic, which seems a terrible idea, and that's why she can't move on. Poor dead lady.

Rahzam, being the nice chap he is, offered to take the relic to her buddy, despite her claims of this Angrel person being terrible. Sure enough, she's a piece of work I really wish you could murder. Alas, it is not to be. She claims she'll use the gold from the bet to buy a gown, and doesn't seem too bothered by Beddi's death.

I'm, too sexy for this party...

Then, I popped by the College of Aldmeri Propriety. Supposedly, it was founded by the Thalmor, to teach Bosmer and Khajiit how to join them. In practice, however, the students complain of mistreatment, which is no good. Go talk to the Headmaster, then go see the classrooms. It's clear that the questgiver Baham was right; this place sucks to be a student at. Go "spar" with the instructors (a.k.a beat the crap out of them) and get back to the Headmaster. No matter whether you lie or straight tell him he's horrible, it does nothing. Go talk to Baham again, then bandage up the students.

Totally not staring at her ass, I swear!

Then, Baham goes ape on realizing they've kidnapped her buddy Ilara. She tells you the students are revolting! Go to Zaban. the trader, only to find that a) he's dead (bummer) and b) he's another Eye of the Queen. Unsurprisingly, the College is under Heritance control. So, go to the cave, and kill everybody, Headmaster included. Once you do this, the abusive instructors are immediately replaced by respectful ones, which is quite suspicious. Still, feels good man.

That's all for this post! Thanks for reading.

Loving the update, Tenebrous. The College of Aldmeri Propriety is fantastic little quest, albeit quite mwahaha in terms of villainy, but really emotive. Plus, Baham is quite a sweetheart, which helps.

I agree. Though, as you said, the Heritance have absolutely nothing positive going for them, the College really shows just how asshole-y they really are, and the students' response to the abuse is really saddening, up until they revolt and earn a better life. Overall, I think it's one of the better Auridon quests.

Also, were I an Elder Scrolls character, I'd totally have the hots for Baham. There, I've said it. :P

Only if you were an ES character? Man, I've been doing it wrong.

After a time of not playing, I returned to the lands of ESO to continue Rahzam-do's quests of silliness. Presumably, Rahzam has spent the time smoking skooma and worshipping Sheggorath, culling the homicidal wolves of Auridon, or chilling with his Undaunted buddies (and by chilling, I mean drunken escapades). But now, we go to Torinaan, which is basically the Altmer religious central. Like the Vatican, only there's lots of gods and the priests are all Elves. Go find the Aldarch, who is nice. What pisses me off about her is her black hair, something player Altmer can't have.

Why can't we have good things?

Go and cleanse the shrines, and read the books too; they offer some interesting insight into Altmeri religion.

If you like it, you should've put a Ring on it...

Also, cleansing the shrines gives you a Divine blessing of speed. This is a bit strange considering the Aedra/Divines usually don't meddle in mortal affairs, but it is really cool to run around like that.

    GOTTA GO FAST

After that's done, head to the center shrine, where you must cleanse more corruption by whacking a Dremora, upon which the Aldarch shows up and shows you a vision of Estre having a nice chat with Mr. Dagon.

Because that always ends well, huh?

And that's it, really. Despite the Aldarch's assurances she'll continue to guide the faithful, the Daedric enemies never actually clear out of Torinaan, meaning she's basically sending her acolytes to die screaming in fiery death. Bummer.

That's all for this post! Thanks for reading.

On my way to Firsthold, I popped by North Beacon, the counterpart to South Beacon on the other end of the island. Here, the Dominion are trying to rescue an Orc who defected from the Daggerfall Covenant, supposedly after witnessing the "hypocrisy" of the Alliance. As usual, however, you never really see this when you're acutally in DC lands, but oh well.

    Cue the "TRAITOR!" Stormtrooper

Also, find and talk to the Eye of the Queen; his quest is part of the objective here. He tells you to disguise wounded Dominion troops with Covenant uniforms, which is a bit sketchy but whatever. It's best to nab the uniforms, and rescue whoever you find as you go to find the Orc. She's in a ship, which means you kill lots of people on the way there. The Orc, who is called Lakhazga, tells you the real reason the Daggers are here is because of her husband; a former advisor to King Kurog of Orsinium. Which of course makes him very important! Lakhazga offers to help you destroy their artillery, and she's actually pretty useful.

She tends to be distracted by enemies, though. Even while fighting other enemies.

Once all the artillery is all burned up, go and whack the Covenant captain. After he's dead, go to the bluff, where the Dominion holds the line. Feel free to kill a few Daggers, it really doesn't matter anymore. Talk to the Eye to complete his quest (assuming you rescued the soldiers), then head into the lighthouse. After the Orc couple is reunited, the objective is complete! Moreover, you're offered a handy portal back to Skywatch, so might as well do some crafting.

Of course, I also went and whacked the conspiracy theorist again, seeing as how she'd somehow survived last time. This did not go over well with her indoctrinated crowd.

This eventually resulted in the entire crowd being brutally murdered, and a 1k bounty.

    Bummer.

That's all for this post! Thanks for reading.

I have missed the previous few updates, but was a pleasure to catch up today! Still loving the snark, and yeah! What's up with the chick with dark hair, and why can't we play as a hot brunette Altmer? Look at her stroppy face! Maybe she wanted nice honey-coloured locks like her kinsmer?

Lol at the items you're collecting there :D
