Looks like someone likes Lydia a lot more than I do :P I can imagine her cussing out the side she doesn't like, before the Dragonborn shuts her up for being annoying.

Excuse meh, but Lydia is teh besst companiooon evaa. :)

Looks like you haven't met Kharjo

    Or Cicero

    Serana

    Vorstag

    Belrand

Or basically any one else but Lydia. The only thing shes good for is Unrelenting Forceing her off the Throat of the World, which is some of the most fun Skyrim has to offer.

I'm gonna take another bite at this.

    (Level 19 Warrior) (Question)

"Eorlund, what's so special about the Skyforge? My blades don't seem any sharper than when I forge them at Adrianne's.

Aye your weapons may feel the same but mine do not. It's not as if any man using the forge can make steel as sharp as mine. It needs to be forged by someone who knows how to forge it and it takes years of practice. There are tales that the Skyforge's flames were once fueled from the remains of great heroes and with those intense flames its weapons would be the stuff of legends. But that was then and this is now, right now only this forge has fires strong enough to make Skyforge weapons. And in case you haven't noticed this forge is bigger. Now, do you need a new blade or will you let me get back to work?

Chuffin hell Naeg, that was a quick response, sniped it right from under my nose!

I'm liking the response mate, it kinda summarises the mindset of Nordic culture - all about passion and history and pride mixed with hitting stuff with even bigger stuff. And it feels like Eorlund to me, wise and proud with a creak in his bones, but still a little cheeky and not unfriendly.

I like it. Very quick response for the size of it and it makes sense.

(Level 81 Warrior) (Looking for quest)

PUNY WEAKLINGS! Gurgnar the Mighty, Slayer of Dragons, Crusher of Giants, Friend of Everyone's Wife, has spent his last septims on *BLAAARGH mead. Now I need something to smash. For beer! Or gold. But mainly beer. Give me something to kill you WORTHLESS PEASANTS!

*A tall warrior in full ebony armor approaches* "So you are the Dragonborn? Meet me at the Last Vigil, high in the mountains East of Riften. There we shall see who is the strongest."

To this day I've yet to fight that bastard. My mods make it really hard to level after 30 without absurd grindingn. Makes sense that the EW would show up. I was thinking a Daedric prince would give him a quest to bring 36 fresh guard helmets as tribute. Or send him to wipe out a small village or orc stronghold so he could drink all the mead.

I think it just made sense for the moment. The point of the Ebony Warrior is some kind of "final challenge" for both parties. This guy really had nothing to do so he's technically in the EW's situation which made me think of him instantly.

I was actually thinking of, say, a random guy on the street giving him some stupid fetch-quest just to get him out of his hair. Something like...

(Amren, standing protectively in front of Saffir and Braith) Mercenary work, is it? Well, as it so happens, my, err... father's sword, yes. Was recently about a year ago stolen by bandits. Yes. My father's sword was stolen by bandits a year ago. I don't really have any leads as to where it is, but I can describe it to you. It looks like... any other iron sword, but it has... a single distinctive dent in the pommel. (That sounds believable, right, Saffir dear? Good.) You can help yourself to the bandits' supply of mead, of course. I don't have enough money to pay you, but if you do happen to find it, I'd be grateful. (Come on, Braith, quickly, now, and be quiet. Don't talk to the strange man.)
