    @ Chris, yes I will right now I'm just keeping up with the participants, want to make sure I don't miss anyone, and since the intended builds tend to change during the first few days I figured I could wait a bit before adding that part, and most of the participants have chosen to either keep it a secret or havn't decided yet anyway.  But yes I will add them.

    I thought the ideas were supposed to be secret?

    This looks like a really fun event.  Two questions. 1) Is a current Workshop build elegible for this event? 2) Does the build need to be a direct recreation of that character or can it be an alternate version of that character?  As an example, recreating of Luke Skywalker from Star Wars where Luke turns to the Dark Side.  Just curious because I might want to adapt my current workshop build for this event.  Either way count me in for something!

    Yes you can use current workshop builds if they fit the event's criteria.  As far as alternate versions of said character I would have to say no, i.e. you can't have an alternate version of Gandalf who raises the dead and joins the Dark Brotherhood it just doesn't make sense, the build should try to stick as much as possible to the original characters umm character as it can while still Skyrimizing them.  As far as your example goes I'm pretty sure there are novels in which Luke does go over to the dark side so it would fit or you could just use and number of other (started as a jedi but converted to the dark side characters) Star Wars has a ton of them.  Hope that cleared things up for ya.

    That helps alot and makes sense that it needs to be pretty true to the original character.  Count me in for a build but still narrowing down my ideas.

    Yeah, perhaps TFU Luke

    Well, I've decided it's final. Put me in for Loki...I don't have a name for the build yet though. (Movie versions) as I believe most people have a pretty good grasp of him; movie version is sooo much easier to portray anyways :D

    Naw, he just meant treat your writing of the build as if you were trying not to overtly give away the source of the inspiration. Switch the names up ever-so-slightly, use Skyrim towns and cities instead of 'Gondor' (Markarth would make a great Gondor ;D), and use TES npc's and creatures instead of characters from your inspiration source. This will help ensure that you are 'Skyrimizing' the build rather than trying to impose an entirely different world into Skyrim.

    In the past, some folks have included a 'Final Notes' section that explains your inspiration source and your in-game choices for the the build.

    I, personally, hope no one keeps their inspiration source secret... half the fun is dying of anticipation waiting for the builds that picque your curiosity (JustRed (Sam Vimes), I'm looking at you ;D).

    Ah, thanks for the clarification, Shin!

    @Vargr When you're ready to name the inspiration, put mine as Jaime Lannister (Game of Thrones).

    EDIT: Also, the name of the build will be the "Kingslayer".

    You can put my builds inspiration down as Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde and I am going to use the Ordinator mod.  Been wanting to really play around with the Alchemy tree in that mod and this is a perfect opportunity to give it a go.

    Alright I think I've got everyone thusfar.  Mega Deebs and Chris both with RWBY builds!  Looking forward to seeing those I will have to get caught up with the show.

    @ JustRed  Whatever your inspiration was the answere is yes you can do it, even if it has been done already or someone else has said they are doing it there is nothing stopping you from also attempting the same build, you'd be surprised how different the builds end up being in the end.

    @ Shinjin  Yes, just yes.

    Well if i'm granted pardon from the higher authorities off we go... I will not let you detain me further

    @Rogue

    To clarify no they don't have to be secret, I just left the option in case someone wanted to keep it a secrect until they actually posted the build.
