hey david my daggerfell archer is now level 40 and I found a sweet ass ebony armor of regeneration in a master chest .  Oh my honed greatsword does 67 damage and my nightingale bow does 55 with a peerless archery ring I brought... but I cant find the stronghold where borgakh is at can u help me with that part

Yes, you need to return the Skeleton key as it is a quest item and necessary to advance in the questline. But you can can decide when to complete that quest.
