Well, okay. I'll try to write something, but I'm not promising anything xD

Thank you! I still have plenty of characters that haven't been put in a build. Hopefully I'll get some of those out as well.

Thanks, Nelaf, I'm really flattered :D Hopefully I'll still be able to pop these out on a regular basis.

Battlemages are quite fun indeed. Thanks for the like!

Having never played any of the Elder Scrolls series & being new to Skyrim I really like this build.  I am currently on my first play through & playing as a Archer.  I will definitely be playing this on my next play through :-)

A blackguard is also a scoundrel, literally speaking (hence, probably, the blackguard gear being a Thieves Guild armor set that has little to do with the suggested character class), so "Anti-Paladin" avoids some confusion for those not in the know as well.

Neat little piece of trivia: it was actually Mason's Blackguard build that brought me to this site. So yes we've had multiple iterations of the concept but this one takes the crown, IMO.

Curious, is the Mace a leveled item like Dawnbreaker, or is it the same no matter the level? If it is the same, no reason to not pick it up ASAP...if it is leveled, would be better to wait for it to get boosted to it's max.

I'm about 99% certain that it is not leveled.

I looked it up on UESP, and it is showing it as not leveled, but it shows all of the daedric artifact weapons as not leveled, and I know for a fact that the dawnbreaker gets more powerful if you pick it up later...found out the hard way by killing myself with it as a vampire.

I didn't think dawnbreaker was leveled either.  Are you sure that it wasn't more powerful due to your own skill and perks that increase damage?

(I HATE leveled items (what idiot thought of this?) - if Bethesda does that in the next ES title, I will most likely not buy the game)

Edit:  Ok, I will probably still buy the game if they use leveled items, but I will definitely rant about it.
