Heya'! Does anyone know if synths (any Gen) are susceptible to any particalr kind of damage? Energy? Ballistic? Electric?

I've thought about this but never dug in. Anecdotally I've always thought energy weapon do more damage to them but never found anything to back it up.

Using the awareness perk it shows that synths generally have more balistic resistance than energy resistance. Would be interesting if they could get like deactivated by electric attacks tho

Soooo as I top off my event build, I'm currently in the process of gathering ideas for my next build. My goal with this next one is to have a junk-focused crafting build. SOMEWHAT similar to the Gearhead or Technician, however I'm ensuring it doesn't end up being too similar. So far, I have the following: the name will be the Junkyard Jackal, Use every crafting tree, loner/isolated character, Heavy weapons (JUNK JET, shredding minigun, missile launcher), and Power armor (I want the rusted/raider look). Any additional ideas would be very helpful :) thanks

If you want any melee (and I imagine with your build you have decent str for strongback and heavy weapons) kremvh's tooth seems fitting for your Junkyard Jackel's "fang". Get it? Tooth? Fang?.......I'm sorry it's early and I haven't had enough coffee yet. I'll post any other ideas I come up with. PS Overboss power armor is way better than regular raider armor and might work good later game.

Love the idea and the name Madd. I am also a big fan of mix and match power armor. To me, a scavy wouldn't have a "Set" of armor, he'd have a chest plate from here and an arm from there...if you get my point. If you're going heavy weapons, I just discovered a pretty great weapon called "The Ashmaker". Complete The Big Dig for access to an incindiary Mini-gun. Yes...it's awesome. The other one I've always wanted to feature is Admiral's Friend. Has a bit of a junky vibe...re-purposed harpoon gun.

XD XD what a genius idea Amo! You mentioning Kremvh's tooth does make me think...maybe the ripper would be cool? like a scrapping blade to tear off junk perhaps? Is it an effective weapon? Never used it before

Defs gonna use the Overboss armor, totally slipped my mind. Perfect look and eveything! can it have a jetpack added?

Ah yes, I've used Ashmaker before. Lovely weapon indeed! Will definitely be using that :) Harpoon Gunning sounds really cool....love the look and would be good for longer range fighting. I'll find a cool mismatched look tooo. Thanks Motty!

The Ripper is not a great weapon...buuuuut it's staggering legendary variant, the Harvester is completely OP. Because of the "rate of fire" it's constantly staggers opponents so they can't hit you.
