    Here's my current draft:

Metu: long-range atronach summoner. All magic-defense, no combat ability.

Do'Rei, dual-wielding light armor warrior. Pure melee.

    Ko'Shana: sneak archer, lockpicker.

Dro'Shu: one-handed tank with a ward spell. Balance between Metu and Do'Rei.

Sahrazad: illusion thief (muffle, invisibility, bound sword or claws).

Nanita: illusion warrior (pacify, bound sword).

    Kestarak: combat archer.

It relies on perks with conditional effects, like how Deadly Aim only increases your bow damage if you're sneaking (so Ko'shana can do more straight damage than Kestarak, but Kestarak's weaker archery provides more opportunities for Power Shot to proc before an enemy dies).

Really dig these identites mate, very cool mix.

Have you considered using alchemy to any great effect? I believe there's a build around here somewhere called The Chameleon by Nikolaj Poulson (?) who basically used alchemy to make any character he wanted, albeit temporarily. This sounds like something that could fit really well into the character. Plus maybe the disorder is a result of extended potion/drug use?

If not, doing something like Deebs' recent WiP - He Who Carves Wood in the Shape of Gods, would work, and as I have experience with similar concepts I vouch for it's effectiveness. Ie Sahrazad would be an excellent candidate for using Dismay, while Do'Rei would use Elemental Fury etc.

EDIT: Found the build, The Chemical Chameleon by Nikolaj Poulsen

I hadn't thought of using alchemy. I'm already planning to use enchanting and smithing for money and armor improvements, tthough I'm not sure what enchantments to pick.

I'd definitely go with alchemy. It's the most versatile skill by far, plus the temporary aspect fits in really well with your concept. Plus it's a very effective money making source, to the extent that you wouldn't need any others.

So, I came here originally looking for ideas on how to RP a Thalmor. I've got a build and backstory that is largely based on FudgeMuppet's Thalmor Agent and I'm currently working on her Character Profile. I've made some adjustments however, largely being that she arrived with another agent who was supposed to be her handler. He was going to be based out of Solitude and work with the Embassy, but he was killed during the Imperial ambush. She's already level 29, (so I can't really redo anything) and having this other agent was mostly an excuse to start the game with the Grand Tour of Skyrim as reconnaisance, due to her contact being killed. She can also use the Lofty Loft as it was originally intended for her handler.

All she's done is the Tour, and she's joined the Thieves Guild, Dark Brotherhood, the College, and the Companions but not finished any of those. The biggest problem I see with the Guilds is becoming Guildmaster of the Thieves Guild. This requires that she make an oath to Nocturnal which would be at odds with her worship of the Aedra, and I think once you get that far in the quest line there's no way to back out of it. Obviously someone correct me if I'm wrong here. However, I think she can do Vex and Devin's quests to build a network of fences and contacts in Skyrim.

I think that she'll definitely do the main quest and see her being the Dragonborn as a true indicator of Elven superiority.

Regarding the civil war, my idea now is to have her join the Imperials initially (more recon) and then switch sides and give the piece of the crown to Ulfric. Since her goal is to sow discord, I may leave the civil war unfinished at Season Unending.

Thoughts? Suggestions? Am I on the right track? Help and advice is appreciated.

This seems like a great backstory to me. Complex enough to be intriguing, simple enough to make sense and not run into any plotholes.

You say her main goal is to create discord. How do you imagine that being achieved by the end game? Doing over every guild? Bringing crime to every city? Gaining massive power (ie Daedra, artefacts, powers etc)? They all make sense. I'll go through one by one what I think of them for your character:

Guild - As you've already started almost every one you've already done the required set up. Usually I'd advise against joining so many seemingly opposite guilds (ie Companions and Dark Brotherhood) in one playthrough, but this reason is good enough to justify it. You could RP that you killed Kodlak and then ditch the quest with the group in mayhem. Same with the College and the Archmage... and Mercer in the Thieves Guild and Astrid in the Dark Brotherhood. Man, Guild Leaders seem to die a lot. Never noticed that before. Although for the less than legal guilds maybe building them up then unleashing them on Skyrim would do more harm than just leaving them.

Crime - Basically as above. Focus more on doing criminal acts as the character to RP more stuff going on - nicking shit, killing guards etc. Maybe even go a bit more high-brow and reverse pickpocket money into officials pockets for them to 'not notice' the shenanigans going on. Or maybe this could be buying moles for the Thalmor, that'd be cool. This would work well with your Imperial idea (which I definitely approve of, good idea) - more manipulative and so more Thalmor.

Power - A solid and well-used choice. Nothing says elven superiority more than having the might of countless gods and ancient mysterious powers behind you, plus using the treasures of the land against the Nords feels very Thalmor. You did mention that working with the Daedra would contradict your characters Aedra leanings, maybe this is a case of ends justifying the means? If not there's still plenty of cool shit to mess with to gain power beyond your station - Dragon Priests, All Maker Stones, other nifty artefacts, and of course you mentioned being the Dragonborn etc. Perhaps a little too brash for your character though. Maybe for the end game when the Thalmor is ready to move in thanks to your devious actions?

If you wanna ignore all of that go ahead, I think I got a little carried away with my ideas! But my general advice is don't try to stretch your character too thin, it can get boring and you can lose track of your characters true motives (happens to me all the time). This could be RPed as the general population noticing everything going wrong and beginning to wonder who's behind it, and of course the Thalmor would be the first people they'd blame.

But I think you're definitely going in the right direction. You have a solid backstory, a solid idea of where you're going and a solid and tangible goal. Plus the fact that you've got to level 29 without Restartitis creeping into your mind attests to the strength of your character.

    Sowing Discord & Guilds

    • Dark Brotherhood: Her priorities are going to be completing the DB questline for obvious reasons. The RP reason is that it murdering people creates fear, but the end of that questline works well towards her goals.
    • Companions: This is my third character and I haven't played through the Companions yet, but she has to have access to sow discord, and belonging to all guilds would accomplish that. As a player, I didn't know that I would have to become a werewolf so I checked a walkthrough and I do. What would be the ideal outcome for the Companions? You've actually just made me realize that she would not care whether Kodlak gets to Sovngarde or not. Can my character still get cured?
    • Thieves Guild: My only real issue with the Thieves Guild is that your character enters into an afterlife "contract" with Nocturnal to serve in the Evergloam until she says you don't have to. It's not just beating up some dude for Molag Bal. Is she really so committed to the Thalmor cause that she would sacrifice a portion of her afterlife to a Daedra? I mean, that's commitment. And really, doing Vex and Devin's quests ultimately give you the same outcome (active Thieves Guild in all Holds) that becoming the Guildmaster does. You just don't get the cool armor.
    • College of Winterhold: The apparent secrecy is enough to make her interested, and Ancano's presence even more so. As she learns more about what he's doing the more convinced she becomes that he's a liability to the Thalmor cause. So her presence is initially, "What's this guy doing here?"

    Crime

One RP idea I've read elsewhere is to deface Talos shrines. I don't know how you'd actually do that in-game. I've already made sure that the priest in Whiterun got an arrow in his back, but that's kind of a gimme. And Elisif has asked me to place something on Talos's shrine for Torygg, but my only option was to say, "I'm sorry, I can't do that right now."  Though I may take it and just never deliver it.

    Power

Sorry, I got mixed up with the part about being the Dragonborn. Is that too brash or is that to be saved for the endgame?

Thank you for the great feedback! This is definitely helping me solidify my character.

Well, I like the idea of defacing the shrines and there are a few ways to do it that I can think of. The best thing I could think of is bringing Nordic Followers (who you've manipulated into joining you) to the Shrines of Talos and the butchering them there. Of course, that'd require you to either be really sneaky or use Fury and I don't know if your using either...actually I don't know if it is illegal to kill your own followers. Maybe that is a fairly solid way of doing it, though I suppose going to jail for a night/paying 1000 gold would be worth defacing a Shrine of Talos.

Quick Note: You can also kill them in a more secret area and then move their body. Might make it easier to avoid capture if you did it somewhere secret.

There are probably a few other ways, but killing someone in that manner would absolutely be a cutthroat thing to do. Even planting an Amulet of Talos on them could be seen as a message to others.

Hmm, Rajhin is a bit of a social justice warrior. In Rajhin and the Stone Maiden, and The Seven Shadows of Rajhin, we see how he favours the underdog or otherwise tricks the greedy. So there's an element of helping people, especially if it means there is a chance of someone getting thier comeupance in the process. There are also great legends about him being very much a Puss in Boots charmer, as likely to woo a lady for the pleasure of it as to the intent to stealing a jewel. I think he likes challenges, and will often steal something only to put it back later just because he can. That said, his seven shadows also are like deadly sins with minds of their own - sometimes very dark minds as we see in ESO. I think we meet Lust, and it is pretty grim stuff.

So yeah, a bit of Robin Hood, a bit of Zorro, a bit of Puss in Boots... all with added swagger and asshattery. Ever so charming, witty, dashing, with a really really dark streak at times.
