Questions/Requests Discussion - POST QUESTIONS HERE

I've never tried it but I would assume no since interacting with a book (whether on a table or floating in the air) is the same and causes you to automatically open it.  However if you command a follower to pick up the book you can then retrieve it from their inventory without reading it.

I'm on Xbox One and Falkreath Manor is glitching out for me quite a bit at the moment. I've finished the small house (unfurnished) and keep attempting to have it transform into th e main hall, however, when I do it on the Draft Table, no foundation appears for the main house part. I still have the options to build the house, such as the cellar, walls, and roof, but if I do they don't show up. When I load into my house the part past the main hall is glitched to where it's a bottomless pit. Anyone know how to fix this? I can't find anything on Google. Also, Lydia doesn't register the house foundation and her dialogue to request stewardship never appears.

I know this isn't the troubleshooting group but it's the closest there is to one lol

Is it really a bottomless pit?  Have you tried jumping down it?  Seriously though I've never run into anything as buggy as that.  My question to you would be are you using any mods or is this character taking advantage of any glitches or exploits?

Yeah, I'm running quite a few mods. Any that has a bad history with lakeview?

there's the "normal way to do it" which is explained in ES wiki. Atronach stone + breton + dragonskin or Miraak's gear or Necromage Vampire.

Then there's the advanced way to do it as explained by albino here. Atronach stone taken after specific combo of fortify restoration potions.

Yes after some more research I found about the resto potions way. I haven't tested it yet in game though. I also use the USLEEP mod I hope it doesn't remove the advanced way. Thanks for telling me.

What's better for a Khajiit with 300+ health, fortify health regen + resist disease or fortify health regen + fortify health?

The one that will benefit you more in combat in order to stay alive would be the second fortify health regen + fortify health. Resist disease is not one of the highly useful enchantments since you can just carry some hawk feathers or cure disease potions to cure them.

Now there is the case where you might want your character for some reason to be resistant to diseases maybe because it fits his backstory/roleplay or something so in this case you just go with the resist disease + fortify health regen.

@ Mitch:  I really can't think of any reason to take resist disease unless you are using some kind of mod that makes diseases more impactful and getting rid of them harder.  As it is shrines are plentiful and you could always just become a werewolf or vampire or carry a few hawk feathers.  In general i can't recommend taking fortify regen anything it's such a small actual increase that even a mere +10 health would be better than a +100% health regen.  As a rule it is better to have higher base health then it is to regen at a slightly quicker rate.  So my recommendation is Fortify Health and something else that the character could use like fortify hvy/lgt armor.
