Roleplaying is the future of building? Where did you hear this from because it seems like Roleplaying is that last minute/not important part of a build? Anyways, I am glad to hear that you become more focused on Roleplaying since it should equally important since everyone can make a powerful, but only some can make one interesting. Plus, writing a backstory and what have you is a great way for you to get a better idea of how to make things flow together.

"Perfection is simply the act of being one's, harshest critic," My high school art teacher told me that and ever since then it has stuck, and I thought it sums my feelings. :)

Ah well it depends on who's builds you look at. Some people do tend to focus more on gameplay but you can find a fair number of more experienced builders who tend to really focus on how to make their character as complete or complicated as possible. It isn't everyone, but it's a lot more common nowadays than if you go back far enough.

I guess I haven't really noticed that, though again I don't go over to CB either a lot.

Why do I roleplay? Because I will never wake up on a prison cart bound for Helgen, and that’s just something I suppose I can’t accept in life. :)

It's quite a niche starting place isn't it? Bethesda seems to be obsessed with making our characters criminals. And while it might make sense for some characters to be framed and wrongly imprisoned, for many others it just doesn't make a lick of sense.
