  Has it really been two months since I last posted a chapter??? Where the hell does the time go? NNnghh! 

  Well, since chapter 3 is taking so long, I decided I would write a flashback after all... and it turned into a massive mega flashback. It's at least twice as long as my usual flashbacks, as well as being extremely messy and quite possibly complicated. However, please accept it as an apology for being late (as usual). Sorry guys.

  I really liked this flashback. Really can tell that these are more inexperienced soldiers we're dealing with. You really capture the sense of chaos very well. 

  Chapter take a long while to construct. It's been a while since I've written what I consider new material. It takes a while to focus.

  Thank you very much for adding a Like, Sotek! I'm glad you like the screenshot, though tons of editing on Paint.NET went into it, since my PC can't really support good graphics.

  Sometimes I wish I didn't have a computer time restriction - the creative juices flow at the most inconvenient times of day!

  Thank you, Lissette.  First person is something I rarely use, and present tense is something I never use, so these flashbacks are sort of personal writing challenges for me. Ah, and our Ruunen. So young and confused at the time. Six years in the Legion is almost impressive for a village boy with no sense of discipline, but it was mainly his cowardice that saved his life.

  It certainly does take a while! It probably didn't help that I was going through a phase of obsession with this tragic horror game a couple of weeks ago and couldn't concentrate on Skyrim for over a week.  I should have done the smart thing like you and written a whole bunch before posting!
