Character Build: The Volkihar Titan

  • October 15, 2015

This is pretty awesome since there aren't many heavy armored vampires but... Spellbreaker? that's just... no that's waaay too flashy to be used by a vampire, especially with ebony mail! I mean it works great but the aesthetic is ruined by the shield!! No no no no no no I'd rather use  wards .-.   it's like the one time I used Dawnbreaker as a vampire, then I removed my helmet for a screenshot and was like "what the fuck am I doing with my life!?"  xD

The beauty about this build is that if you want to use Wards instead, you can do so with the amount of magicka pumped the Titan has at it's disposal. You can literally play as a Battlemage, Shield-Mage or even as close to being an evil templar in a way. The thing with using a ward instead of Spellbreaker is that you literally loose the ability to use the two stance combinations "Death's Bulwark" and "Dragon's Might."

Again, when I constructed this build, I gave what I used, the Stances and Stance fusions, but the Titan itself is a highly versatile build. Feel free to experiment and do as you wish. Glad you still found the build awesome though.

Also, Dawnbreaker and Vampirism? DUDE I LIVE FOR THAT KIND OF INSANITY! I take the Aetherial Crown (Ritual Stone), Combine that with J'zargo's Flame cloak and TWO: That's right, TWO Dawnbreakers and finally, Ahzidal's Ring of Necromancy and create a large chain of massive explosions of both fire and ice that literally obliterate the undead!

Call me suicidal, but hey, who ever said I was normal right?

Hahahahaha a vampire dual wielding dawmbreaker  xD the build's name should be "THE HYPOCRITE! And he plays a Blade (from the movies) role xD

And yeah I know it's versatile it's just the shield that bugs me cause it's so Dwarven looking. Wards plus Wabbajack are my only defense against dragons in daylight anyways (since I always play as a vampire)

Ahaha the Wabbajack! The staff I use along with Halldir's Staff in order to turn people into sweetrolls and steal their souls, then eat the sweet roll XD It's all a good form of legal cannibalism in Skyrim

    Recognized!

Awesome take on a defensive juggernaut (and without any crafting!). My only gripe is the artwork. Did you get any of the pieces I posted in the comments of the WiP? I think I still have them somewhere if you want them.

I am so glad you like it! As for the artwork, I have them on my other laptop. I will be whipping a few new things up soon. But before I even think of that, I need to finish up another build in the works.

Inspired by the Ka-Po-Tun, The Swordsman, and utilizing modified techniques from both the Advanced Archery and Melee corners. Introducing a Two-handed, Light-Armor tanking swordswoman vampire alchemist who absolutely despises the male gender to the point where all her damage towards them is boosted by 25%! Following in the Defensive footsteps of the Volkihar Titan!

I will soon introduce to you and everyone else, The Eternal One!

My reason for making this build is essentially to show a mastery of Two-Handed along with utilizing the Ebony Blade and keeping shouts to an absolute minimal. I will also be showcasing Light Armor and Alteration combined to form Light-Tanking.

Not my kind of character to play but, the amount of work, dedication, and time you put in this can't go without being recognized especially on PS3 too. Kudos man! This is the most defensive, tanked build I've ever read on here so far and with a great offensive possibilities ( The Stances )  ( Those ultimate ones though should be saved for when this character REALLY needs it! as they rely greatly on greater powers )

This may be one of the very few builds( despite on what others say ) that can survive Legendary Difficulty with moderate ease.  I would like to see this in action someday.

Nonetheless, good work. I'll be looking forward towards your second build.

    Hello Ry Williams

Thank you for the like as well as all the encouragement! My next build is going to end up being a Two-Handed, Vampiric Swordswoman build who will feature using Light Armor for tanking instead of the traditional dodging. It will also primarily use the Ebony Blade and Telekinesis as a form of damage as well. I hope to have some more fun though. I can wait to release her out into the world of Skyrim!

I do not have any recording software or hardware at home, sadly, so it will be extremely difficult to display the build in a video... I wonder if  I could find someone to do a video about it though!

    Anyway, thanks again!

Very nice build. I like that you can always adapt to the situation trough those stances. They really make the character unique.
