A bow looks way cooler on his back, to be sure. But I love the enhanced dwarven crossbow, it takes me back to my Morrowind Days.

We used the Elven dagger as it is easy to obtain and can be upgraded with smithing. The Blade of Woe would be a good choice early on but since Enchanting is taken you could probably put a better Absorb Health enchant on your own dagger.

A blades sword could be a substitute for the scimitar... But I'm a stickler for Japanese swordsmanship, and I don't use the Blades sword due to it... just being all wrong... The way its held, the way the scabbard hangs, the strikes and combat animations...

Anyway, I believe the scimitar and Blades sword are similar in stats, so feel free to substitute!

I think the string point of this build is that it is presented so well. I've been saying it for an age now, any build, no matter how cliched, can be presented in an interesting and unique fashion. Good job overall, well deserving of a +1. On a side note, some of the sentences are overly complicated and thus grammatically incorrect. It mainly comes down to inappropriate use of the comma but suffice to say it only effected some parts of my reading; mainly in the backstory. Also, 'Dawnguard' is spelt incorrectly in the quests.

Thanks. I hope the writing wasn't too abrasive. I suppose I'm becoming more of a reader than a writer nowadays.

I will be editing it though, but I'm probably not going to re-familiarize myself with the correct use of commas any time soon if I can't do it correctly already lol.

You "spelt" spelled wrong btw. I only point it out because, well...

i was looking for a new build lol lately ive been in a bit of a slump trying to make a new build to post, 1 been having a hard time typing it up and 2 been a little bored with the game lately but maybe this build is just what i need to get out of this slump..might i add though that maybe marked for death or drain vitality could possibly work with this build.

I had an idea for armor combo, while playing this I used cultist robes, bonemold gauntlets and boots. I thought it looked pretty good. What you think?

For the Gauntlets and Boots, I used Fortify Two Handed. (Found early-game in White River Watch, on the bandit-leader at the end)

The Helmet was Fortify Archery. The Scimitar and Dagger were Absorb Health. (Absorb Health weapons are rare as randomized loot, and you can substitute it with elemental damage until you obtain a weapon to disenchant and learn it.)

Scimitars and Daggers are plentiful enough, and you can make new Armor when you level enchanting more and need better gear. Don't forget to enchant rings and necklaces too!
