I can't tell if you're taking the piss out of me or if I'm just too thick to discern the syntactical difference.

Maybe I should have put an emoticon. I was illustrating the contradiction of Bethesda's explanation.

:D Oh good, I thought so. I did laugh, then immediately doubled back and questioned it.

So mods are free but the creation club is for...paid micro add-ons? Which is somehow different because it's "official" content.......? If that's the case I don't foresee paying for any creation club content.

In (slight) defence of the Creation Club concept, it could be that this is a way to bring some of the larger and more gamechanging mods to PS4. If the devs are able to somehow work with Sony in a way that circumnavigates the current restrictions then it could have a good outcome.

Would I pay, say, £1.99, to be able to download a major game overhaul like Ordinator, or a significant sized Quest mod that adds DLC-amount of new content? Yeah, I probably would...(given that there is no other way to get that on PS4)

I hate to say it, but I probably would too. This was my first thought, that they were trying to find a workaround for console users. That said, in light of this, I'm even happier that I'm making the switch to PC. A little part of me dies every time I go through with a microtransaction, or any kind of purchase that uses fake money.

Meh.  Really sums up my entire response.  So Beth' is just treading water and milking old stuff for as much as they can get, which is fine and would have just left them as underwhelming.  But paid mods, ahem,  I mean the Creation Club, seriously you can call a turd a rose but it still smells like shit.

Hah! Right?? A lot of it is apparently going to start in-house. I'm not sure how many modders outside of Bethesda they can realistically recruit, and further, what potential that has to fracture the modding community. If some decide they'd rather be paid for their mods, will they ever be welcomed back into the larger community? My concerns are mostly around the potential fallout within the modding community. And also how much these mods will cost and what the silly exchange rate will be with the credits. I remember 800 Microsoft Points for the Xbox equalled $10. Silly. Silly.

BJ is for Nazis what Doomguy is for demons. He kinda reminds me Aldo from Inglorious Basterds. Cause theirs if theres one thing he likes, it's killin' Nazis.

Hands down worst Bethesda Conference of all time...or any e3 Conference for that matter.
