Dark Souls 3 Players - What builds have you been using?

    I think its because I got a bit too reckless with my swings, thinking ¨This dude will be easy¨, but then his wild sweep took off a good chunk of my health, I think I had a few thousand or so when this happened, and I focused on attack and little on defense

    Definitely go Dex. That gives you the Dragonslayer Swordspear, Dragonslayer Spear, and several other good Dex weapons that you can either infuse (Astora GS gets an S scaling in Faith when infused with Lightning if I'm not mistaken) or just buff with Lightning Blade. Strength just has Dragonslayer Greataxe.

    I'm pretty sure dark sword and astora straight sword have S in faith scaling as well. I ask cause in DS2 my faith build used the Zweihander. Not the best in terms of scaling but it was badass.

    I got Oceiros and Champ first try. Champion Gundyr's such a good fight, he's one of the best bosses and I just really get in the zone against good humanoid bosses.

    Dancer's a weird one, she can either be super aggressive or spend half the fight just walking around you, so it's very RNG dependent how you do against her. She got me the first time, got caught in that spin to win of hers. By the way lads, I've got an idea for a nice series of Dark Souls discussions, kicking off tomorrow! Also how would people feel about a community ranking of the Dark Souls bosses by games? That could be a fun little talk.

    I had 800. My mentality in dark souls: If I get hit, I'm not doing good enough, so adding more health is giving me excuses to be bad.

    I never got caught in that, in all my attempts she only used that move more than once in a single attempt. That one time she used it again was right in front of me... I was one hit away from death, I rolled into it 7-8 times and survived, them homeward boned out to get more estus.

    I just wasn't expecting it, I knew about the second sword I just hadn't seen that move, went in for a punish and got caught in the blender.
