Yeah, sometimes it feels like his writing style has become a caricature of itself. I'd rather have it than not though.

So when you Said the Hoon-Ding cant be the Hoon-Ding forever did you mean thats its like a Title and goes away or Is it Like The Dragonborn?  Born Hoon-Ding dies Hoon-Ding and will always be one just another one comes along.

Someone can be HoonDing at breakfast and not be HoonDing by dinner, for example. Not really sure on the time limit, if there is one. It's worth mentioning Diagna, who was HoonDing and later became a god (possibly as a result of being the HoonDing, but no one really knows).

Oh, so Redguards can become gods when they die, but not Nords?! I'm just playing. But that's really cool. I didn't know that.

Yeah, I've actually compared Diagna and Tiber Septim before. Both became gods after death (albeit in different ways) and they both started a sodding big empire.

    How did she do it?

Hey, Shor, sorry I didn't see this early. We're not totally sure how Diagna actually transcended. It simply says "He was an Avatar of HoonDing that achieved permanence." So he might have mantled the HoonDing. But I had always imagined Cyrus to be the one to mantle the HoonDing. Alternatively his transcendence could have nothing to do with his being the HoonDing. He's simply known for something called the Twenty-Seven Snake-Folk Slaughter. Something he did caused a cult to be founded around him (and keep in mind, this guy was around with Frandar Hunding, greatest of the Sword-Singers, and yet people were worshiping him over Frandar).

So, this is a stretch I know...but Phil gave me idea awhile back of trying to make a RP build that could connect all of the games, or at least the character you play in the games. I was thinking of maybe using the Hoonding as this character....He goes from "mortal to mortal walking from soul to soul".

So is it passable to say that the character that is played in TES games is a Hoonding, waking up as a prisoner? Does the Hoonding have to be a redguard? I'm not sure if this should be its own discussion or not, but I figured I would start asking here.

I wouldn't say he would have to be a Redguard but I would think his goals would have to be in aid of the Redguards since that's his whole deal
