Are The Thalmor Doing Any Good For Their People?

Stopping the Oblivion Crysis? Clearly biased author of the Rising Threat. Ondolemar says that they "saved all the Elven-kind during the Oblivion Crysis".

I could swear the Thalmor took credits for what Martin Septim did.

Well, whats interesting, is with Queen Aryenn of the 2nd Aldmeri Dominion. While she publicly decried racial superiority and whatnot, she also stated she would ""sooner place an Altmer infant on the Ruby Throne than surrender Tamriel to their capricious whims"" While yes, they having a longer lifespan gives them expertise, it is kind of hyprocritical. Am I saying all Thalmor are like this, or all Altmer as a whole? No. Heck, a number of Altmer FLED the Dominion. To me, they are Well-Intentioned Extremists. They have good intentions at heart, but their actions to do so, well, "The ends justify the means" I don't see them as evil, like how I don't see the other races as inherently good. True, there may be beings in each race that fall on either extremes of the soectrum, but like with IRL humanity, I feel everyone on Nirn is very gray in morality
