The Gold Route: Over 6k gold with no skills trained

Will make some tests soon enough, I have an idea on why it might not work, but if you got it with USLEEP and a longer mod list than mine, most likely I'm just being a scrub =p Nevertheless, will let you guys know if any results are of interest, and thanks =)

Alright, went in-game with only the bare minimum mods (God bless MO) and set a test out. It would seem that it works just fine...and I'm most definitely a scrub, as I only managed to land double hits, and in a most inconsistent manner =p Well, at least I know now for a fact the glitch works with USKP, which is nice. I'll try and setup a test with one of my current chars to see if I can replicate the result, to confirm that it's not a mod in my list messing with it. One point though, I was trying DB's tip (well, I think it was DB, may be wrong) that the glitch might work on left-hand weapons, but didn't get anywhere. Managed to get a few double punches in, but never double hits with weapons, not sure if I understood it incorrectly, simply don't have the skill to make it work or if some odd mod in my list is messing with it. Oh well. Also, if I may actually add something useful to the thread, here's a tip that helped me out A LOT in the early game for my new mage: head to Labyrinthian as soon as possible and ask your followers to wait outside. Then simply run past the trolls to the maze to grab a word of power and four staffs. Those are actually very useful in the early game, with firebolt giving you some good early-offense,  fear and repulsion with crowd control and magelight just being overall useful, with the added bonus of not leveling you a bit (well, maybe enchanting if you consider recharges, but depending on what you are building and how you play this is negligible). Then simply run back past the trolls grab your followers and be on your merry way.

That's a good tip!  It's a bit out of the way, but I know staves can be really useful when trying to avoid leveling up.  I made a few conjuring staves on a character once, and those frost atronachs really earned their cost.

Heya!  Coming back to this, I was just testing this out again as I got an idea to make a bastardization build of Darkest Dungeon's class, the Grave Robber.  I can confirm that off-hand attacks definitely work with Advanced Unarmed Combat on unmodded PC at least!  I got at least 4 hits in 1 second on the Helgen bear using a dagger in my left hand.

You have to be in third person, though!  I haven't been able to pull off a single Flashing Daggers assault in first person.

A grave robber build would be interesting, indeed! If you mix in poisoned crossbow bolts, dual-wield pickaxe and dagger, potion of alteration+quick reflexes+slow time (grave robbers are notoriously dodgy and their buff affects dodge) and become ethereal (to emulate both lunge and shadow fade) you've pretty much got the complete pack, and at least in theory it still has the tools to holds its own in Skyrim. It's just a pity Skyrim has no throwing daggers (unmodded, anyway).

I've got a couple of builds in the pipeline for the Workshop soon! Just waiting to see whether or not I'm gonna be moving in a month before I decide how much work I can put into them at this stage. The Grave Robber at least makes use of this guide, although I haven't even touched a crossbow yet... it's certainly the best way to replicate Poison Dart and Thrown Dagger, but I'm having too much fun with the free x2 backstabbing available from level 1.

You can actually loot everything from the mage cage in Helgen without unlocking the door (including sparks, the gold, etc.), just a little thing if you wanted to update it.

Er... care to explain how?  I've never been able to grab that stuff through the door or the cage walls.  The only thing that ever shows as lootable is the mage's body.

I do it every time I play a new character I don't want to level lockpicking on, just crouch and look through the right hand side of the cage door (or presumably any gap in the cage door) and when your crosshair is over each item it should be lootable, it's sometimes hard to nail each gold piece because the hit box is so specific but it's doable (tested on pc and console).

    Great job Librari!

Not only did it work like a charm, but I added this to the beginning of Mason's Arcane Archer, making the initial grinding of those training levels a snap!

It gave a nice "apprenticeship" vibe to helping out Revyn.  I had it in mind that I was to meet a contact at Meeko's Shack or Lost Prospect mine, but when they didn't show up, I just had to take the spoils for myself .

I'll be using this much more in the future - thanks for adding!
