Yeah, adjusting it to 10 was a good compromise. I just hope there's a timscale mod when I switch over to ps4. I briefly checked bethesda.net's selection for mods and I wasn't as disappointed as I expected to be.

Wait when did this come out? Urgh I've got no idea how I missed it but damn is it awesome Liss. The Backstory is probably my favourite part of the build to be honest, love that it's a bit longer but more importantly, it was just a fun read. Looking really good Liss :D

    Thanks, Deebs.

I need to give this a proper edit when I'm feeling better.

Aaaa, my eyes! Too much Nord superiority for my eyes to handle! :D Awesome job, Lis, it literally screams with "Die Thalmor bitcheeeees!", and the artwork just kicks ass. :)

Well, I didn't want the Nord to just be Nords for Nords, which is why I picked Carlotta. I think this is just a guy who doesn't want to see people hurt anymore and he's willing to go the distance to ensure that eventhough he's old.

Fantastic build Cappy! I've seen builds before that have stages, adding a roleplay aspect to the feeling of progression in gameplay (I.e. the scholar becomes a wizard upon learning the paralyze all spell), but this is so much more. This build's "change in direction" has its own clear and meaningful purpose that strengthens the roleplay and creates such drastic change in gameplay that I imagine it really does feel like a new and somewhat terrifying experience. I also love mounted combat, and two handed especially. As far as I can tell (though it's hard to know for sure on console), two handed weapons share the animation and swing speed of their one handed brothers when riding a horse, increasing your DPS considerably (if you can get used to mounted combat). What I didn't realize however, was that Sweep applies while on a horse. Unless I read that wrong, that's kind of a game changer! How do you get it to activate? I don't think you can do sideways power attacks on a horse.

I swear Lissette, you're reading my mind!  I played through that outburst last night and it hit me hard, like it always does.  (I even fumed about it on the Character Crusade Discord.) It just rubs me the wrong way - in every direction.

You've captured the emotion, the rage, all of it in your backstory.  You've written what I've always wished to do in the game.  It was beautiful! (rubing my left eye to cleanse a tear...er....I mean dirt.  My eye had a piece of dirt in it.  DIRT DAMNIT!!!)

Bear-Arm is a very intresting character.  A Nord for the bard's songs!  Since I've not played as a two-hand melee bad-ass Nord before, I'll have to try it!

I read and loved this when it was a WiP and the completed build is even better! I love the heavy roleplay aspect of the build and the long backstory. I love how you incorporated in-game dialogue into the backstory. I admit that I teared up a bit when reading the interchange between Fralia and Tysnal when she gave him the sword. :’(

I like how you carrried the 'bear' theme throughout the story and in the game play itself, relating the combat attacks to bear attacks. Your selection of pictures even gives a 'wintery bear' feel to the presentation.

With me being a vanilla Skyrim player, I appreciate that you include options for both a modded and unmodded play through. (I avoid fast travel and stop to eat and sleep anyway.)

As I've mentioned to you before, I tend to avoid melee characters (as a bad button masher) but this roleplay heavy build would definitely entice me to try!

Really like this. First one I read on this site. Basically why i even made a profile. Definitely going to push me in the right direction of role-playing, good work.
