Try something like 2:3:1. Health is obviously incredibly important. Magicka is also important, but you do have enchanting and the Atronach stone to back you up as well. Stamina isn't very important, especially once you grab Respite.

Many thanks to TZ gaming for the great demonstration video, and thanks to JoDK for requesting it.

    It's working now!

Just a suggestion. If you want to include Necromancy into this build, why not sub out the helm for the Aetherial Crown and have the Ritual and Atronach stones? I realize that it'll change some of the perks and your armor rating will be lower but I feel it's a decent option.

Ugh, you're right, the decision between the war-axe and greatsword is tough, though I'm leaning towards the greatsword. It's not as versatile and I won't be able to pull off the Immortal special move, but damn, that weapon is sexy! :P PS: You think it's worth getting up to Stability in Alteration. That should bring Slow Time's duration to 32-36 seconds!

Where did you get the Angelina jolie looking avatar from?

Wait, why wouldn't Immortal work with the greatsword?  Dual cast Frost Cloak, then switch to the sword.  What wouldn't work?

I just wanted to say how much I love this build.  I recently made a Spellsword who is vary similar to this and I consulted this build a lot for ideas.  I diverged from your build in a few ways but this is a very solid idea and I followed the same focus with one handed weapons and destruction magic. I love that you didn't go the stealth route or focus on illusion magic. I've ignored stealth too (a truly powerful vampire shouldn't fear being discovered, her enemies are the ones who should fear being discovered). Though I'm going to pick up illusion now just because I have nothing else to spend the perks on.

The idea behind my build was to make a mage who becomes a vampire to be even more powerful, but who then uses that newfound power (thank you necromage perk, I never really got you until now) to negate all of the negative side effects of Vampirism.  With careful perk choices and enchanted gear fully hungry the only consequence I have from vampirism are about 50% health and stamina regain in sunlight.

I also ended up going to glass smithing because I really wanted to smith a glass war axe that does fire and ice damage.  I think the dual blades of that worked perfectly for the idea.  Plus glass armor looks great while you're using frost or fire cloak.  I would consider writing up my build if I didn't think this one and Ponty's Skystrider covered the same material better than I ever could.

I think that the dps would just be lower.

Elven armor, the cape is from an addon you can download from The Skyrim Nexus forums, I forget the exact name for it but its a large capes mod with tonnes of styles and varieties.
