Alright. Put me down for Uthgerd the Unbroken. :D

@BlueDremora:  The only restrictions are using the primary skills of the character and not exceeding the character's level cap.  In the case of Eola her level cap is 30 and her primary skills are Destruction, Sneak, Alteration, and One-Handed.  As far as her being invisible in the hall of the dead...potions/Shadow Stone maybe.  As far as the manipulation of Verulus I always credited Namira with that.

So...in answering BlueDremora's question about Eola I ran into some hiccups with that character, and I imagine more will exist among other characters in the game.  First her skills don't list Light Armor however she is classed as a nightblade and under that Light Armor is listed as one of the skills (in addition to the ones already listed on her page).  Furthermore, Restoration is not listed on her page or for the Nightblade class, however she has two perks from the that skill (regeneration and Recovery 1).  I see justification for both including those two skills and for excluding those two skills, so for cases like this one I will leave it up to the builder's discretion.

In the end I think it's more important to recreate the character than it is to be dogmatic about skills and perks.

I'll have a mod list over the weekend. Will probably do a modder's log and a build, but will keep the log simple to not interfere with my other projects.

This looks like an impressive amount of fun. I'm not really feeling overhauls at this point, though, and I fear a vanilla character recreation build is likely to feel... stilted. I don't believe I will be going down this route.

I suppose it won't count for official participation according to the options provided, and I'm perfectly fine with that, but I'd like to do something for the Story Corner instead. Something like a Modder's Log in the style of Lissette or Dragonborn, but, y'know, without any significant mods - my modded game controls surprisingly similarly to a vanilla Skyrim with very few gameplay changes. So just sort of a diary for the character as I wander through Skyrim. I've some experience with logging my current playthrough - it is very, very rewarding, though it does slow my playthrough somewhat (significantly).

As for the follower... Illia. Definitely Illia. In terms of combat capability as a follower, Illia is probably one of the best mages in the game, and a personal favourite follower of mine. It's more than just personal bias, though. She's got a pretty interesting (for followers) backstory, which should keep the unModded Gameplay Log interesting. As a player character, her offensive options are limited to cryomancy which, being uniquely unsuitable for adventuring in Skyrim, will provide for some... interesting... challenges during the playthrough. I might give the Rune Master perk a shot - I believe Frost Runes bypass elemental resistances, which is probably going to be a godsend for her.

I will need to think somewhat on how to make her viable for combat throughout Skyrim. That might be worthy of a build in and of itself, especially when limited to her Destruction/Restoration/Alteration/Conjuration specialisation and (probably) distaste for necromancy making Conjuration leveling nigh impossible - Soul Trap would be of significant value to the character. I believe Illia does gain a few levels in the Sneak skill, which could be very interesting. I won't concern myself overmuch with the question of whether or not she turns out to be build-worthy, the fun will be in the log.

My mind is swimming with possibilities already. I can hardly wait to begin.

Alright, put me down for Erik the Slayer using Ordinator and I am going to attempt my first Modder's Log with this build.  The tales of a small town kid turned adventurer.

If it helps Solyeuse, there really is no need to have a mod to the level of something like Requiem or Ordinator, there are no real rules over in the Modder's Conclave about the exact mods that youu have to base your Log off, just that there is a mod involved. Really you could have a clear mod list except something that adds the Greybeard Robes, or the Unofficial Patch. It just doesn't have to be complicated, as long as there is a mod involved in some way and I'll be fine with it over there.

    --------------------------------------------------

Anyway, I'm aiming to post both a Modder's Log and a Build for this Event, to be honest I'm playing games that aren't Skyrim right now so I'm not 100% sure I'll have the time in the end but I'll be aiming for it. Good luck everyone and feel free to hit me up about either the build or log if you need help.

Alright, added you to the list Texas, can't wait to see what you end up doing with Erik (he's one of the companions that I think best lends himself to a story or build). I'm glad that your going with a Modder's Log, let me know if you need any help with that, or if you just have any questions about them.

Hey Bones, are you just going with a build or trying out a Modder's Log as well? Just want to make sure I get everyone's name and exactly what they're planning.

I really want to take part, but sadly I have exams, so I simply don't have the time. Someone had better make a Lydia build and block doors for other NPCs, hint hint. Have an awesome time, everyone.

Good luck with your exames Morti, I'd love to see you join in here but that seems like a fairly valid reason for not joining :D My only issue with the Lydia idea is that for it to truly work for me is that you need someone who isn't afraid to fling an Unrelenting Force out at you to get you out of the doorway, which yoou know might be an issue :P
