Hey, this is a fantastic build! I'm starting it now, just made level 7. I have to modify it a bit because I am using Ordinator, but I am following the general idea and theme!

But I am curious about something, I have the Bandoliers mod and I see the book holders, but I see nothing called book notes. What are these book notes?

Come to think of it I think Karver meant the notebooks from the bandoliers DLC patch. The fact that it says book notes is my fault though, I was supposed to edit that kind of stuff out... Well fuck.

I'm glad you're playing the build though, I didn't really expect such enthusiasm. Thank you!

A power hungry blood mage based on a creepy book? yes please :)

Nice work team! Teen - I think your note about using Bloodthorn is good enough to go in the main write up imo. A perfect little dagger for your guy.

But i get it...use what you find.

    Otherwise, brilliant!

What DLC patch are you talking about?  Because right now I only see an option to enchant 2 book things, and not 4 like you say in the build.

Not sure what´s exactly the problem, but I was able to craft 4 of these items. 2 Book Holders, Back Left and Back Right, and 2 Notebooks, Front Left and Front Right. Maybe it was removed from the mod with new updates? I actually have no clue.

Heh, thanks, Motty. As for Bloodthorn...well, I myself didn´t find that useful, in comparison to Soul Trap. Soul Trap had the advantage that it speed up the leveling a little bit. It costs a lot - at the beginning. Once you get Necromancer´s Amulet and get Conjuration to...30? you´ll barely notice it actually consumes Magicka.

    But...use what you find. :)

I suppose so. I looked on the webpage for the mod on Nexus and there is zero mention of notebooks. Oh well.

I found it. Bandoliers - Dawnguard, it is listed as a separate mod. Those notebooks are from this.

Wow guys, this is incredible, but not unexpected from CBers of your class, everything from concept to execution is great, I regret to say I have not read the book concerned but trust me I will now, very well done guys great job +1

There are too many quotable sentences in this build, Karveena. "Slow as a snail taking a piss" possibly stands out as my favourite but it only wins by a hair against "You hit the mage with Chain Lighting, destroying his Ward, he gets staggered. But before he manages to rise another one, Ice Storm hits him. Take that, sucker!" :D

Seriously now, you have done the literature proud guys. This is a great build, very inspiring. It has been a long old time since I took destruction seriously as a specialisation, normally I use it for runes or cloaks to augment melee damage. But This build has something special going on in its unique approach, character and balls-out embrace of total offence. The art is awesome as are the in-character comments: "Skyrim could polish my lance..." Yeah. I am not even.

Fantastic job, guys :) One thing I have been enjoying since Goldie recommended the Equipable Tomes - Belt-Worn Books mod is that the tomes act like potions ratjer than enchantments. So instead of decreasing the cost they increase the potency of the spell. A dual-cast flesh spell with one of these bad boys equiped has allowed some serious tanking. I imagine that the power of destruction spells would be brutal, maybe even OP with the right tomes.

Wow, I am loving this build. Talking of the book makes me want to read it now. Can't really add onto what everybody else said. Great job guys (may look into mod actually). 1+ from me.
