No, I think it looks stupid there too. Especially the helmet. I know people are going to just say I don't like any armor than, not true, I'll list some of the heavy armors I actually like: dawnguard set, imperial, steel, ebony, Nordic carved, chitin (it looks kinda cool... Without the helmet), ebony mail, etc.

Speaking of which, Ebony Mail can be a good option too, with the latest patch making it not affect friendlies

Quick question about the Ebony Mail. Why does it match the ebony helmet perfectly, yet the regular ebony armor leaves a ugly gap at the neck when paired with it's helmet?

I'm not saying it's essential. It can help to use healing less often and concentrate more on supporting your allies. Playing all game with 100 stamina can be hard, especially as a vampire. On higher levels when you have a lot of health leveling like this, it wouldn't hurt putting a few points in stamina to have at least 200-250, IMO.

Early game yes, but don't forget that Ancient Nord Armor is affected by Daedric Smithing, so the armor rating can be improved past both of them.

Bryn, you can wear a different armor if you want, but it won't work with the build as well as Ahzidal's set does. If you really want a different set, I'd go Ebony with the Ebony mail as Vaz suggested.

Don't care, will use anything else other than that

The Hotkeying is just personal preference on my part Vaz. Even on console, you can use one hot key for self heal and the other with heal other. All the other spells and items are either only used before combat (Courage, summons) or not used as often (staves). That way you can easily enjoy combat without all the menu shifting.

Ahzidal armor set is affected by Steel Smithing, unlike regular Ancient Nord Armor (according to wiki)

Ah, I see. But aren't hotkeyed spells always equipped in the left hand first? I tried to make them appear in the right hand but it didn't work. The same way staves are equipped in right hand first. Am I doing something wrong?
