Hi Furrion! So happy to finally read this. Site has been very slow for me and I was working on the Compendium and moving. Thank you for taking the time to go in depth with regard to the new perks offered by Ordinator and Sacrosanct. The extra tips on a separate page is also very helpful. I like the thematic presentation and I can tell you really worked hard on this. I love the Bloodskal blade, so really nice job incorporating that. Lol, even your build is red, black, and grey, from the armor to the weapons. Nice.

Did you do the whole Forelhost dungeon at low level? I only needed to do the first room to get my hand on some Ancient Nord armor and weapons for Henantier. I think the first cultist drops a full set.

Thanks Lissette, stoked to hear ya like it!!

I really enjoyed creating this one from the Reaver archetype. All the perks and effects that Enaisaion's mods added seemed to synch up great for this build, and I really liked going into detail to show just how much synergy this Svarah has when played right.

The Volkihar Knight Armor mod that I used is one of my favorite moded armors because it just loooks like it's part of the game. Nothing flashy or out of place looking about it. Just genuinely looks like a heavy variant of the Royal vampire Armor. The health drain effcet was a treat especially on higher difficulties with Wild Cat installed.

I'm glad the colour theme for the build sticks out, it took hours upon hours to get all those pictures and banners right lol . I even modled my character after one of em because it looked so badass :P.  The Bloodskal Blade, is one of my favorite weapons as well and I was just itching to make a build with it. Just so happens that it seemed to fit the theme of this one to a T, so I went with it. Honestly I was planning on just running the ancient nord great sword with a health enchentment but after I thought about using the Bloodskal blade it turned out to be far more interesting gameplay wise. And I found if I managed Svarah's health well enough she didn't really lack for the enchantment any way.

I think when I got to Forelhost I was somwhere between level 5 - 8.Haha yea much to my the toll on my sanity I did the whole dungeon. It was the only time the whole playthrough I put it down to novice lol. There were just to many Deathlords and don't even get me started on Rhagot. I have a bad habbit of refusing to turn back when I start a dungeon. And if it's particularly hard I get the "I will not be bested by you game", attitude going on lol. I gained like 5 levels of mostly heavy armor in that dungeon lol. So yea if anyone else is reading this do yourself a favor and just kill the cultist ghost and grab the armor and weapon at the very start and bail. It's just not worth the pain and torment on lower levels unless your like me lol :D :D

Anyway cheers for droping in a coment great to get the feedback!!

I've not played many vampires, so seeing the perks explained was good. I have ideas for vampire builds, actually two, and I still may do ithem down the road, but conceptually, I just see vampires very differently and most of the mods I've looked at that enhance vampires, I find personally, make them too overpowered. But again, that's just me, I don't like being op in any scenario. You balance your stuff pretty well with other mods, I can tell from you list. I can't play this build because I'm on ps4 and don't have access to many of your mod slections, but that's okay. Doesn't stop me appreciating the work people put into these builds.

Coincidently I am not using health potions in my latest build that I'm working on either.

Don't I know it regarding banners and headings. My Outsider took hours too because I wanted it just right. My style has since become much simpler, and I'm tempted to revamp that build to make it look more modern, but no, I can't bring mysefl to erase all that hard work. Besides, I think it is reallly good that young builders see that older buiilders progress. Next year, you'll be that much better. Everybody improves.

Rhagot is an asshole on all difficulties. He's just awful. I have a love/hate relationship with that dungeon. I love it because it's soooo awesome, hate it because damn, all the deathlords and Rhagot.

The only thing I'd suggest is that I'd consider embedding the video. To me, it would just complete the look of the build more. I'm also more of an rp builder myself, but I appreciate good gameplay too and I saw that you explained her alignment and all that above. You may want to consider expanding the size of the perkspread image just a bit. But up to you, my eyes are tired and pretty much shot from the Compendium work I did for the past few days, so you can ignore me if you're reading it fine. I just find I need to squint to read it. I'll check it out again when I convert my laptop to a desktop and start using my 40" 4k as my new monitor. I think I'll be able to see individual atoms with that sucker. :D Just teasing, but damn, it's big.

This is really, really great. I personally love the idea of a Valkyrie-esque Nord Warrior in Ancient Nord Gear with a Greatsword, but you took that concept and twisted it around so many different ways by making her evil and associated with some of the darkest and scariest things about Skyrim. I am going to try to emulate how you format and structure your builds as these are some of the most in-depth and wll-structured builds I've seen. The graphics, the art, the special moves, everything is top notch and such a top of the line example for newer build makers like me! Great work.

Hey man this really made my day to read this!! So glad you like my style. It's come a long way from my first build back in 2015 (Shudder's). But I just came back this year as well so believe it or not you have actually done more builds than me, but I am happy to be an inspiration none the less. My second build was The Shadow of Dawn (ok tecnically 3rd if you count the remaster of The Stormrider as the 2nd). But I did base a lot of my presentation off of the builds in the HOF and try to meld into my own style which I think I've managed to pull off.

The build itself was really neat to create. What I liked the most about it was finding out all the stuff about the ancient nordic pantheon when I was researching the Dragon Cult (thanks Phil), there's just so much awesome lore there. But finding a way to transfer the Reaver from Dragon age into the Elder Scrolls ended up being a little easier than I thought as there was some interesting lore around Zaan Scale caller (Once again thanks Phil), that detailed some ineresting dynamics with dragon bonds. More to say it is relatively unknown what particular way a priest and a dragon were bonded just that there was one. So that gave me the leeway I needed to introduce the Reaver Dragon blood drinking ritual.

what order did you do the blue blood targets?

  • October 29, 2018

did you have any issues with the bloodskal not firing with these mods loaded?

@VampyreKing - Didn't do the Blue Blood targets in any specific order. Though it is worth noting that since some of the npc's in the quest are higher levels than others you may want to watch out when trying to feed on them. (Particuarly Arngeir who is some crazy high level like 110).

As for The Bloodskal Blade. The only issue I encountered was it ocasionally not working after using VL form sometimes. But thats was always a problem even in vanilla Skyrim.

On a side note if you have the cheat mod installed and use it to customize your apearance I've noticed that this also messes with the blades ability to "fire". Strange but there it is. Beyond those two things I wouldn't know any other reson. The Blade it self has a notorious reputation for being one of the most buggy weapons in the game.
