    Is that the Turnpike tunnel in the last image? I just passed there 20 minutes ago.

    Yep, I'm mostly lost on what to say as it went over me 'ead, by and large :D But the art with its yellow and black colour scheme is a visual treat, and the words are fun too. I haven't seen the film, so don't have anything to fall back on here. So minimal input except to praise the character, presentation, and overall theme :D It really is a good-looking build, and with your usual character-first slant :)

    Thanks, Phil.  A lot of the images were originally in color, I just manipulated them in PowerPoint to be black and white and then went for a grainy, almost comic book feel.

    I may post some befores and afters in the art section.

    Ok, I was sold just by reading the first in-character paragraph. Homeless suddenly became whole new level for me. This guy absolutely kicks ass with the classic Long-Chapper sense of humour and presentation. :D

    Haha, now I have a "classic" style. Cool. Yeah that monologue he delivers in the movie is insane, but it's freaking Rutger Hauer, the king of weird but awesome movie monologues. Coincidently, his playtest name was Roy Batty. :D

    @Karver,

    I know, right? It's also completely augmented by the fantastic accompanying art, and translates really well into the Fallout universe, actually!

    I am pleasantly surprised how well these 80s, 90s, and grindhouse anti-heroes translate into the Fallout world. Get ready for Machete next. He wil be a fun surprise.

    Looks like we're having competing shotgun builds on this event. Your's a vigilante and mine a raider.

    You are doing Fusil, yes? That's a combat shotgun, so very different weapon in my eyes. You play very differently when you have a larger clip and can get more than two shots out before reloading. Oh, let me tell you I got sooooooooooo many freaking legendary combat shotguns and I had to bloody sell them all, but damned if I got a legendary double barrel. My fiance once got a never-ending double barrel, we were both like WOW.

    Yeah, it's tough letting go of all the weapons I'm coming across. Especially legendary weapons. Not used to it, that's all. This event is a nice change of pace for me. And never ending weapons are pretty awesome, if a bit OP for my taste.

    Yeah, he didn't use it for very long, but we sure had a laugh when he did. I once got the Defiant perk on a pipe shotgun from the Pipe weapon overhaul. HAHA, that was sooooooo OP, double damage ALL the time, because the pipe shotgun only has one bullet in its clip. No such luck ever in my builds though. Had the same cheapy shotgun I found in the beginning of the game. And I'll probably have the same Machete too. Because Machete's playthrough will of course be the playthrough where NO legendary machete's drop.

    I think that would be great! It'd be nice to see the art and also to learn at the same time :)

    I love that the simplicity of the game world that you were basically forced into actually worked in favor of the build. As someone who really enjoyed the movie, I think you've done it justice here. I honestly wasn't sold on Basher when this was a WiP, but I've come around and I actually like its place in the build. It's the overall focused nature of the build that's got me nodding along to it. And of course, the aethetics are on point, and cohesive with the build. Well done top-to-bottom. You treated those screenshots so good.

    Thanks, Legion. Basher was a lifesaver for Hobo on several occasions. If one continues the gameplay and finds the Strength Bobblehead, Rooted is a great little set to do as well.

    I will probably keep this simplicity for Machete too as his imagery is very iconic. There is something about the Grindhouse genera that to me, says simple and brutal. Not that the dlcs are bad. Love them. Nuka world is actually a nice fit for the genera, but there is something quite naked and raw about the base game. A Zombieland build would be amazing for Nuka World. Double-tap!

    Machete is more complicated build. Again using Luck to simulate intelligence like I did with Ash.  Machete is an inventor, but to dump that much into science for stuff he isn't going to use makes no sense to me. Again, marrying film image with gameplay, you have to make some decisions. The perks for Agility synergize better with luck, especially with Melee. Who knows? If Machete goes well and its completed in the same timeframe as Hobo, you may get a third build out of me for the event.
