I'm kind of a crafting..."fanatic", so I don't think I'd have the patience to wait for the gear to turn up. When I make the Sentinel, I'll probably cave and include enchanting and alchemy.

Quick question: Hasn't Bethesda patched that Atronach Stone thing? Because I don't really want to play a build that can't work to its fullest potential.

You should make Deepest Fathoms a main quest for this build because the reward is Ancient Knowledge which grants a 25% armor bonus when wearing dwarven armor as well as 15% faster blacksmithing leveling.

Are you trusting yourself to find all the gear you need in the wild? You explained how to get the gear, but how will you get the enchantments you want? 

Would you consider the Visage of Mzund with this build instead of the Destruction Helmet?
