Either way, the chaos enchant stacks with the enchanter perks and the destruction perks, which gives a +95% damage bonus. If placed on a Stalhrim bow, the enchantment gains an additional +25% damage bonus multiplied on top of the 95% bonus.

I'm not sure if this was updated after DB though. Also, Chaos enchant is ridiculously OP and renders all other elements obsolete, so I can understand Mason's reasoning for not including it.

Does Chaos frost damage apply the slow effect? That's a big part of his go-to weapon.

Welp.  One Dead Is Dead playthrough down.  Poor Arche died at level 12 to a pair of ice wraiths.  I ran into them while trying to avoid the mages at Fort Kastav (because of their infinite magicka BS) by going through Wayward Pass and up by Saarthal.

Maybe next time I'll get enchanted bows before I try to go through those mountains.

If you're going DiD then probably should run around whiterun for a while getting mats and soul gems filled till your get your bows goin'. Snag up that mage in riften to have some extra fire power...things are nice then.

Yeah, I was going to Winterhold to get access to more filled soul gems, but carriages are for milk drinkers.  Maybe I should be a milk drinker.

Fast travel by map is for milk drinkers...carriages are people trying to earn an honest living...give them some gold so they can feed their family.

Dan mate, you were absolutely right about Marcurio.  He's a beast when traveling with a level 1 PC.

Last time, I was paying for Speech/Light Armor training mostly via alchemy.  I discovered Folgunthur's Absorb Health enchantment while doing a Sorcerer playthrough, and I remember those daggers not breaking 300 gold profit each until I'd gotten a few ranks in Enchanting.  Is it really possible to train *every* level and pay for it using iron daggers?  I'm just not seeing how that's supposed to work (when each dagger enchanted levels up Enchanting till the mid-40's).

You can stop enchanting daggers once you get the transmute spell from the bandit camp just nw of whiterun. Enchant gold rings cause you get 2 ring each time you smith them. You can put enchants on them that sell more...usually a fortify destruction is pretty nice.

I didn't think apparel was ever more profitable than Absorb Health weapons.  Remember, I'm trying to earn maximum profit per Enchanting skill point, not get the most out of mined ingots.  Anywhere Marcurio goes with me, I "find" dozens of weapons.

I might be worrying too much, but DiD will do that to you.  It's hard to get a feel for how prepared I have to be and how tight the XP gain needs to be when I'm not used to playing as a non-sneaky archer.  Too many levelups from alchemising will only delay Extra Effect!

Well, if worse comes to worse and I run out of cash, I can always make Marcurio go earn the spoils of battle for me.  After all is said and done, I think I'll have to marry the poor man out of guilt.
