Yep, basically you have ingredients that determine the effects (both positive and negative) and the type of water you use determines the level and effectiveness of the potion (poisons aren't available yet) . You level up Alchemy by creating potions and discovering effects.

Wasn't there a passive in the Shadow tree for Nightblade's and heavy armor? I think it was increased health right? So you could potentially make tanks with them quite well, it should be even better with all the absorbs.

The shadow passive is major ward and major resolve for 2 secs per piece of heavy armor, every time you activate a shadow ability. activate it with path of darkness and you get increased movement speed too. Then the shadow ultimate reduces damage by 30% while in the aoe which would be great. There are a few other tank oriented passives in the tree too.

I've run a Nightblade tank myself and it definitely works. My build was more based around evasion and absorption though.

Hey guys I'm wanting to make a Redguard build but I'm wanting to make this one a bit more lore\RP heavy so I want to make a warrior with aspects of the Sword-Singers as well as influences from the Magna-Ge\Constellations. Any ideas on how to do that?

i was thinking Aedric Spear might work? It's Light Magic and it involves forming a blade.

There's no weapon summoning abilities that I'm aware of unfortunately. Templar could definitely work with their Light-based attacks though.

Was there anything in particular you were after in gameplay terms? A stamina-heavy warrior or perhaps more of a balanced spellsword?

Well the the aedric spear is pretty much what I'm looking for with a summoned weapon so it will do. I'm looking for a warrior type build using aedric spear and either dual wielding swords or a sword and shield, not sure if I should use medium or heavy armor.

I'd probably recommend dual-wielding then, since you've got more options for increasing your DPS that way.

Another option could even be to roll 5 light/2 medium or heavy with a shield and actually focus on Magicka over Stamina - Templar has a few powerful close-range abilities that run off of Magicka like Puncturing Strikes and one of the Solar Flare morphs. Shield is mainly for defense and some of the buffs/debuffs from abilities as all your offense comes from magic.
