Auriel is a deity, why wouldn't he be able to create such a weapon?

On paper, the bow may seem weak but in combination with Garmr, the move which I named 'Blood trace' is really super effectiv!(not exagerating) The enemy flees while Garmr pursues him and you can attack another enemy. It's a very simple but a cool combo , just try it out

And thanks for reading the build

There's no reason he couldn't, but it just doesn't seem his style. He's Auriel / Akatosh, the Dragon God of Time, creator of the Amulet of Kings and manifests as a huge goddamn flaming dragon. Magicka drain just doesn't seem like it's his style, you know? It's like Sheogorath creating a huge magical hammer, it's just strange and doesn't seem to fit with their lore.

An Elven Bow with Banish and Fire Damage is more up his alley - it reflects his flaming manifestation in Nirn with his creed to keep the Daedra out of reality.

I invented this legend of Auriel's Shadow to fit this build. You can name it and enchant it whatever way you want, I don't care,...

    I like it!

Just a question: How have you smithed those bows to do so much damage?

Thanks! At that time, I experimented with Alchemy. I created strong fortify enchanting potions to create powerful smithing gear and then enhance the weapons. I know it was not clever to take screens of the weapons with such high damage cause in a regular playthrough it's not neeeded. I have since then re-forged the weapons with less damage and even on master-legendary difficulty I'm having fun.

Wow already 121 likes on this build! When I wrote it I didn't expect such a huge and positive feedback at all, especially cause it was my first build. Thank you all

Looking over this again, I don't know how I could possibly play his... I want to so badly... But I never use enchanting or smithing... Disenchanting I know I do a lot... Actually enchanting? I can count every enchanted item I made on one hand... (It just gets so OP, and is so boring to level up!!)

Any good replacements for it? Will alchemy do? (Oddly enough, I only really use alchemy for paralysis poisons and healthy potions... Need to expand)

When this build was written, one could still forge 1000 daggers until level 100 of blacksmithing was reached and enchanting these daggers would also be easy, but thanks to Bethesda, now it's a pain. However dwarven bows use little material and give enough XP. For enchanting, you could use the trainers to level up or do specific quests that grant magic skill advancements. With alchemy it's the same. It's boring to level up and it's not a real substitute as some enchantments aren't available as poisons. Unfortunately, there's no way around using enchanting.

I love leveling alchemy, it feels so fast to me... Enchanting it feels fast at first... But then eventually runs out of things to disenchant... And then it becomes a pain to me...

No, I don't like enchanting cause it either is too weak to do anything, too powerful and becomes boring, most of the enchantments are pointless (I'm looking at you fear and drain stamina), and it takes so long to level to get the perks I would want...

In the end it just bores me and even when I get it to where I want, it still isn't fun.
