I've thought about this over and over the past days. I want to update it but i need to change a lot. I'm thinking of remaking it into something like Character Build: The Dragonborn, with the Dragon Sage being one of two paths( one for siding with the Voice Masters - the dragon sage, and one for siding with the blades - a much more barbaric warrior much like the dragonborn in the trailer. I need to think this through. I'm just not that pleased with the build in this state. Scout, send me a message with your ideas if you want to contribute to the build. Thanks!

I think it would be better, and make more sense Lore Wise if the Dovakiin became a "Dragon Sage," and went on to spread the new cult.  You're already talking a Messianic story here, prophecied Chosen one battles Chaos/Destruction incarnate to save the world, and then what?..

Paarthurnax could go on to do the same for the remaining Dovi, but would be a poor choice for spreading the Word to people because of being a Dragon, and all.  I mean, we all know, and love him, but should He fly to Solitude, for instance, I seriously doubt everyone would gather 'round for a lecture.  It's really hard to Teach people while they're running away screaming, and/or arming up to defend the city.

I'd add a less fearsome City Outfit (Fortify Speech?) for teaching the masses, I meen Jesus, Buddha, and Mohammed didn't walk around in a Hannibal Lechter Mask, most likely because of the same affect.

The way you put it, we should all drop the roleplay and play only the main quest as the dragonborn and nothing else, end of game. It's a roleplaying game. We get to be whoever we want, do whatever we want. Hell, that is what Bethesda encourages. Furthermore, Bethesda released no official statement as of what became of the dragonborn after he defeated Alduin. It's a cliffhanger. It leaves room for a lot of interpretation. Also, Paarthunax did say that this is not the dragonborn's last adventure....

Mainly because they existed way before Hannibal Lechter existed...

Lechter never existed, nor could he, really.  I mean, he's just too much, like Superman, or Cable all packed into the same charachter until it's completely unbelievable.  In the books, he even had 12 fingers, and radiating spokes in his eyes that seemed to rotate when he held Starling's gaze...

That first comment was mistaken, because I read it wrong.  I thought you were saying what Paarthurnax did after the first defeat by the 3 tongues, instead of after the 3rd defeat at Sovngard.

I'm not saying that at all, but there is established Lore, and then there's straying from it to the point of contradiction.  I was trying to help you consolidate the established lore with what you've written with some continuity, that's all.  I'm still willing to, now that we're on the same page, and you're working on a revamp.

Rather than writing 9 separate Dragon Sages, I think you could probably put the different Aspects on the same build page, and even swap between them with the masks, if one so desired.  Unless, of course, you had wildly different enough builds that they couldn't all be the same character due to conflicting Skills.

Technically, if something is even thought it existed... Superman exists because we have made tv shows, movies, comics, and theme park rides after him...

If that's what you chose to believe, go right ahead, man.  If life imitated art likeat, then all of this would be an Allusion.

I think you mean "illusion". And to exist is "objective reality or being"... If you were to simply draw a stick figure, that derailing now exists... If you were to play a part of a character, that character now exists in fiction... :)

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Allusion

That was a pun, and double Allusion to Oscar Wilde, and  Sorin Cerin, respectively.
