Hey Detectives.  I've been trying to put together an old world comic book collection for my kid.  Can you give me a Commonwealth Guild to Comic Collecting that will show me the optimal route to collect all the books in the Boston area?  Oh, and if there is anything really mean and scary nearby that would be good to know.  My kid doesn't need that particular book if you know what I'm saying.  In fact, I need to go change my shorts just thinking about it.

Whoo, this is one big undertaking. Might be better to tackle it in parts honestly, because of the volume of comic books. But I do have an idea....

Are Androids/Synthes really Human or should they be treated as Humans?

I've had my eye on this one for a while and I'm glad it's still here, cause I'm calling dibs. I'll say it now so no one thinks I've abandoned it in a few days - it's going to be a hefty article. Long, dense, and thorough, as any philisophical undertaking is. I'll keep it interesting though.

When a replica imitates the original so well that no one can tell the difference, what does it become? :P

Don't get me started. No one here wants a dissertation. I'll probably just stick to arguments made in game by various NPCs for the sake of brevity. Well, as brief as something like this can be.

Ahh, Philosophy the thing that I love and hate at the same time.

I really wanted someone to pick this and make it based on some Philisophical ideas for that is the only way to answer such a question.

Following a Lead: Sgt. Michael Daly's Holotape

Using google maps, I am assuming that Boylson St is the one that runs along the north side of the Boston Public Library. But understanding that the map of Boston was compressed and things were moved around a little bit, I didn't just limit my search to that street, but expanded it two streets over, north and south. Using a jet pack to get into areas that can't typically get into from the ground, I looked everywhere.

    And I found?

Nothing. Zip, Didly, Nada, Sweet FA.

I can not absolutely count out the possibility that somewhere out there is some kind of reference to Michael Daly's sister. But I am certain that it is noowhere near Boylson St. Aslo searched a number of Wikis and Reddit threads. I'm not the only one that can't find anything.

Ususally, in a Bethesda game, a clue like this will lead somewhere, or have some kind of reference. The only thing I can find is this: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Michael_J._Daly

I think we can call this one resolved.

Defining the human...that's a tough one. Asking how to define what a human is actually partially answers the question. Then where do we go? Do we approach it biologically? Pragmatically? Or define synths as discrete from humans and make an argument for their social equality? So many angles. I'll try to cover the most powerful arguments.

I look forward to it, Legion. :)

Synths are self aware therefore I'd treat them just as any human. But they're as human as an Elf or Argonian is.
