Hmm... True, I think it may help if I read the Straag Rod first lol. Also, I believe I kept thinking he was a scatter brain, due to being an Orc. How many Orcs do you see, who don't live in Strongholds, wield Magic and to top it all off, 'run' a library, full of books dating back to the Second Era?

Still working on this. When Henantier is done, I go full on with this one.

Set up a modder's log for a requiem playthrough of the build. I'll link to it tomorrow.

    A few things...

Here is the link to the Modder's Log for A Requiem playthrough of the build.

    The Arch-Atronach (Requiem)

I originally told myself I wasn't going to do Requiem anymore, but Teineeva made me update and you know, I'm liking it still. And with ICoW, and now EFC:Companions which has a patch, I see Requiem as much more viable on a playtest. Besides, Requiem allows Urag to be a true atronach without a glitch as the Atronach stone gives +350 to magicka, 50% spell absorb, and like -10,000% magicka regen in addition to nerfing your potions and the ability to replenish magicka with food. This leaves Alchemy and spell absorb as the only means to regen or Equilibrium spell. This is actually more true to how Urag is in Straag.

How much Requiem will be put into this build? No, I don't see a seperate Requiem build, I just see a perkspread for this build for Requiem and some explanation of what to do when playing that overhaul as opposed to Vanilla.

I'm also gonna change the arts up a bit. I like the basic concept a lot, I no longer like the Oblivion-style wood frames and will be opting for a much simpler black frame instead. Really, lets the brightly-colored and more retro feel of the artwork pop out more IMO. I will also be adding skill icons from Oblivion for Sneak, alchemy and the one for Mysticism will act for Enchanting in Skyrim's mechanics. It happens, you try a concept and then you're like, nah. I'm also shifting the Vanilla skills a little to match the Requiem playthrough a bit more. Less emphasis on one-handed and archery, and I'll take up alchemy, but only lightly perked.

I've given serious thought about using Vokun. In Vanilla I can ignore mage armor side of Alteration and it won't hurt much, especially with Archery and Atronachs. The benefit of Vokun, however is that I'll attain near-zero spell cost for Alteration and Conjuration, which for a build with absolutely no magicka regen, this is fabulous to have. I will be testing a similar mechanic in Requiem. I want to see if I can keep enchanting slots to a minimum, keep them the same for both builds and actually keep the gear roughly the same. I was using Cloaks of Skyrim before, which adds some great mage cloaks, but no, I want to avoid that crutch in the gear.

That's all, just wanted to keep people posted on this build. Need to restart a Vanilla playtest and the Requiem test is going well at level 22. The Vanilla one is just to make sure I can play the glitch viably from level 1.

Still churning this build in my little brains, so don't delete. Though I am thinking perhaps Ordinator instead of Requiem. I like Requiem, I really do, but I dunno, I dislike grinding levels and grinding skills just to be able to fight, but at the same time, I wants more spells and more perk options and rewards for perking and a more special world. Ordinator, Morrowloot, and Apocalypse may give me what I want and then not slow the leveling so much. I have to think about this. I still need to do another Vanilla playtest still, cause I want to try True Atronach from as close to level one as possible. So the Modder's log is up in the air. It may well change to an Ordinator log. LOL

Lol, I can now work on this along with straag. YAY.

Finding myself a stupid house and deciding on the combat mod. Combat was put on SE and it is usually my go to because I don't have to fiddle with anything.

Okay, so I found a combo of mods that I'm exceedingly happy with and there are no difficulty mods at all now perse. I am totally satisfied with Morrowloot, SkyTest and Expert difficulty. I get the difficulty I need without it being tedious, the logic of a deleveled world and loot brought by Morrowloot and the added animals of Skytest really add immersion. Possibly, down the road, I'd add immersion mods such as Frostfall and Campfire, but right now, I am enjoying my game. I will delete my modders log and put up a new one to reflect the changes. Way excited.

The big project this weekend, besides Nano and Straag is to overhaul the art in this WiP and redo my Modder's log.

Love Morrowloot. Got SOOOOO sick of chasing wolves down. No, you come here! So Orc can keeeeeel you. So I let Skytest go. Added the said Campire, Nordic Cooking, and some lighting and plant overhauls. Opted for SKybirds instead of Skytest. Gave me birdies without animals like freaking running away.

That does mean that I restarted. It's not the concept. The concept is very cool and plays great. I just am very finicky about my mods. And I didn't want to live all the way near Cyrodiil. Which was silly to me. I have this great immersive midden mod, I wants to live there. In addition, I want sneak to be a tactic with this build, not a crutch.

Well anyway, the restart was good, already level four and nabbed the atronach stone and the Necromancer's amulet. Cleared the abandoned prison, Fort Amol and Fort Kastav. Died a few times, but I got smart and was able to do it.

Great concept and build Lissette, Urag is in the list of my favourite NPCs in Skyrim. The art added in the build thus far is also great!

Something else, I once saw in a discussion that Morrowloot is on the dangerous side of mods because it is changing the leveled lists or something like that. I 'm not sure about the credibility of this just thought to mention it since you 're using it. Also it was nice you mentioned Nordic Cooking looks like it would go well with my Skeleton Archer.

I don't think changing the leveled lists will cause that many problems unless it conflicts with another mod which I think only happens when it is done without the use of scripts, if anything it will be the scripts contained within the mod which really only become a problem when you try and uninstall it half way through a playthrough like any other mod. I've been using it for a couple of months and haven't run into any problems with it, the discussion you saw might have just been an isolated thing or a problem with an older version of the mod. Also since Lis is playing this on SE I think she's using Morrowloot Ultimate which is slightly different from the original Morrowloot, I might be wrong and she's just using Morrowloot we'll have to wait until she responds to find out.
