Inn Room: Mara's Kiss Public House

Hello all, as the Inn Rooms in ESO are free I happen to own all 4 of them and so thought it would be interesting to try and decorate another besides my Saint Delyn Penthouse. For some reason I decided on the room that happens to be the smallest player house in the game the Mara's Kiss Public House, when I said smallest I mean it, it can be difficult to place even a bed in this room. Because of the limited space I was at first unsure of what to do, until Paws suggested that I make use of the vertical space and so I decided to do just that by creating a room for my Bosmer who would not need to worry about hitting her head on anything.

On the ground floor I've created a small smithy where Sina Sunforged; my Master Smith, can work without having to wade through the crowds of other players. The smithing station is the standard un-attuned version that you can get from the Master Crafting Writ Vendor, hanging above it is the blacksmithing sign that you can buy once you reach level 50 in smithing. The fire pit is a Khajiit one; I forget which, and is there because you can't really forge arms and armour with a heat source. The items resting atop the table are all things I crafted in this room at the blacksmithing station.

Here we have the stairs leading up to the second floor; which I stood on to take the first screenshot. This staircase is made of two stone stairs that I purchased from a vendor on Summerset. Below the stairs rests Sina's loyal hound, I earned him as part of a leveling reward not long after they were added and felt that he would be perfect for Sina who is only just bigger then him. The roleplay reason for her to have a dog from Markarth (I think) is that she found him abandoned on Auridon; most likely due to some Altmer purchasing him for the novelty and then growing bored, she decided to take him in as a fellow outside to the lands of the Altmer and they have travelled together ever since.

Welcome to the second floor, there's not much up here but then Sina doesn't visit often and see's no point in storing things here for them to go unused and so prefers to carry what she needs with her. Behind the screen is an Orcish bed which gets infrequent use but is valued none the less. Something I've noticed is that when sitting on the stool which is of Bosmer make, Sina's feet still do not reach the floor. I eventually plan on adding a rug infront of the divider, however the only ones that I could find were far too large for this room so I will need to keep hunting.

The final item of note is this Orcish Brazier which provides most of the light for both floors of the room. I had Paws walk up and down the stairs on his Altmer and I can report that there is no chance of anyone hitting their head on this Chandelier, the wooden planks are another matter.

Very creative. I knew there had to be a way to maximise that tiny space.

I remember when I first acquired that room. I thought the game had bugged out when I went through the door to be greeted by the opposite wall a few feet away! I couldn't that was the actual room lol

It was interesting to do since the door is a pain, because the game wants to be able to place any character in front of it when they enter the room there's an area in front of it where you just can't place any items, which made the second floor difficult.

Those stairs are only 100 gold each from the furnishing vendor in Alinor which makes them really easy to use.
