    This thread is so awesome.

Phil decoratiing services will not be far off.

Lol, thanks Lis :D Honestly, though, mst of it looks lke ass but it's just good fun more than anything else. Something creative to do that grows over time.

For the images, I've copied the image location link into the "Insert/Edit Image" box of  the editor, and "Constrain Proportion" option is set at 900 x 506 in case anyone wants to have slightly bigger images.

Kinda makes me wanna kick back and make a thread for FO and one of the settlements like that. Hmm, Ash's Castle could be fun.

TV's version of Flip or Flop

We have this lovely property for you... right here in the middle of the Commonwealth, a fixer upper for sure. LOL. I only use quality scrounged materials for my flip properties.

The biggest change is to the fireplace. That firepit can't be created, only purchased in a Furniture Pack or bought for Crowns in the store. Am glad I did as it really makes the atmosphere feel more homely, especially the way firelight dances over the gold areas of the Tribunal Rug. Praise the Three. The broom near the window to the left of the hearth is a smaller touch to add to the used space look. Moving Kyne's Totem into a more visible area is also something I am pleased about.

I did away with the wasted space opposite the fire, turning it instead to the kitchen area. I don't know what's going on, but flour is worth its weight in gold. That pumpkin costs "20 Flour" to make. I don't know what that is a measurement of, but it must be a lot. The Cured Meat hanging on the Wood Elf Sturdy Bar, supported by two Wood Elf Braces, takes 3 Brevez Juice to make. That stuff is rare, but I was fortunate in that I received five helpings of the stuff two days in a row. I hung a Nord Caged Latern from it to add more light to the area. Visible, too, is a Rough Orcish Mug. Perfect for beer on a cold night, and a nice souvenir from Wrothgar.

Things inside are starting to feel way more complete. All the basics are now in place: Somehere to cook, eat, wash, sit, and sleep. The cat got turfed off the bed. Speaking of beds, I got an Orc Stone Bed Praxis that looks the shit, covered in an echatere hide. When I change the visual style I think I'll swap out for that badass bed.

Having collected a number of massive Undercroft items with nowhere to put them, I thought I'd try and remake the space here into something of a museum.

It looks rough as a badger's butt, but the general idea is to use the stone slabs from any Home Goods Furnisher to level the area off and create a platform big enough for Vvardenfell to sit. At only 100 gold per slab, garden paths, steps, and this here thing are cheap as chips to create. Harder to get looking nice, though.

Home Improvements are looking good, Phil. I do like the addition of the kitchen area, makes that whole space look more like someone lives there.

Y'know, this thread has inspired me. Think I'll buy a house on the PC version! Unlike Rahzam's pad on X1, I'll deocrate this one by hand. However, I will be buying the furnished version, for all that cool furniture. Now, to decide on the house; something Medium sized, but apart from that I can't decide. Here's my list...

-Ald Velothi Harbor House: I've always been a sucker for unique arcitecture, and the Vvardenfell Redoran-styled "bug-house" fits the bill. It is, however, sadly expensive, and I don't have the Morrowind DLC yet, so I won't be able to visit the house's in-game location.

-Bouldertree Refuge: Again, unique architecture is a huge plus, and the Bosmeri treehouses are really cool. Also, the Refuge comes with a lot of open space, and is the cheapest Medium house (Bosmer housing in general is pretty cheap). However, the actual house bit is small.

-The Ample Domicile: Always liked the simplicity of Argonian mud-houses, and the Domicile has a lot of open space. But, similar to Bouldertree, the actual house is pretty small.

-Ravenhurst: Pretty big house, and it does have a courtyard for that outdoor experience. Breton buildings, however, are rather underwhelming, and it is smack in the middle of a town (which I don't like).

-Sleek Creek House: I love the Khajiit houses, and Sleek Creek has a lot of outdoor space. But the house is small, and it's the most expensive Medium house too.

-Mournoth Keep: This house is fairly large, and has not-insignificant oudoor space. And I am partial to good Orcish stonework. But it is pretty expensive, and in a boring area to boot.

Thanks Lis :) I probably won't do too much with the interior now in terms of layout. I may change the style of furnishings but, in terms of what goes where, I think I like that lived-in feel it now has.

    Good choices. Thoughts...

Ald Velothi is next on my list, it has a lot going for it: By the sea, stunning view, mult-storied to allow for thematic rooms, and a fairly decent sized yard for trees and shrooms.

Sleek Creek has a very nice view of the March from the front balcony, while the rear gives you a feelng of being close to civilisation with the view of Rawl'kha. The little stream is compelling, but the almost-entirely paved garden could limit the desire to grow flowers.

Boulder Tree has a lot of space, although the uneven surfaces could drive you a bit nuts :D However, it does have two pods which could make for a lot of fun to decorate. One could be the hearth, the other the bedroom, giving you a lot more space to play with.

The Ample Domicile is a thing of beauty, what with the Ayleid walls. It as a similar feel to the Coven Cottage, with a fair amount of garden space.

Ravenhurst... Yeah. Slightly meh :D Which is ok as it gives you a chance to put your stamp on it, but not a feeling you want when spending actual money.

Mournoth Keep is an interesting one, I'd never even glanced at it until now. I like the amount of living space and how each room is clearly seperated. It's very dark, which means lighting could bee a lot of fun to get creative with. The garden area almost demands lots of statues. The view is slightly underwhelming, though.

Ha, I'm sure whatever you pick will be fun, especially if you log the experience :)

I replaced the shelf to a Nord Wall Shelf so that it's big enough to hold the Undaunted Bust of Grothdar from Vet Vaults of Madness :D Beneath that is an Orc Adventuring Backpack, a souvenir from the Hero of Wrothgar's trip to Orsinium. A Display String of Beets has been added to the food rack, and that's Saint Olms the Just decorating the wall from Clock Work City's Asylum Sanctorium Trial :)
