Yeppo! Having another guild outside of, but related to, the Vault could be great for a wider friend list. Question: Are you the NA or the EU server?

So uh, I've kind of been mulling this over for a few days but would I generally be better off sticking with a single weapon type or using two? I've been experimenting between using a ranged weapon (since I'm focusing on Dual-Wielding for my primary) but I wanted to get some opinions on whether I might be better of having two sets of the same weapon type and just changing the skills up, or using two completely different weapons.

Depends on the character. A tank or Magicka DPS will generally keep 2 of their same weapon type (weapon + shield and staff respectively). Stamina DPS also do this sometimes, but usually they will branch out, dual wielders especially like to complement their abilities with a bow backbar.

With how Frost Staves are set up, plenty of tanks will also us one of those on thier back bar. But yeah the majority stick with just sword and board.

For stamina dps having volley; and its morphs, on the back bar is really helpful with increasing your dps (Lex, 2018) for both dual weilders and twohanders.

A different perspective DB: Do what's fun. There is plenty of time even after you hit champion levels to try out a different weapon. I think i did that with Sir Paws, my main tank character. Iirc Goldie and I did Scalecaller Peak while I was still levelling my two-handed on the back bar. I changed my role to damage dealer and we survived it. So, from my perspective, don't over think it. That goes double if you're focusing on solo content. If you feel you want more ranged go for bow. If you feel you lack survivability go for two handed and the brawler morph for the damage shield. Obviously if you use the same weapon on both bars then it'll take longer to train other weapon skills later and you'll be relying on skyshards to unlock those skills, but ultimately there is no rush to get any skill to 50. The caveat is optimisation, though. If you're looking towards the end game and hoping to hit high dps, then the sooner you slot duel wield and bow skills on your fb and bb the quicker you'll achieve those numbers.

This is a great question. When I have a bit more time in a few hours, I'll write up a more detailed reply. The short answer: it depends on the goals for your character... The type of content you wish to play... Group or exclusively solo play...etc.
