@RougeSilver I dunno. Zenimax has said that it's up to players as to how to role play that. Maybe your char isn't beholden to one Alliance, for instance.

One Tamriel isn't getting rid of levels, just the barrier to explore outside of your initial alliance. BUT CURRENTLY, group dungeons scale according to the level of the group leader. So, we could make the lowest level character the group leader.

And you will definitely be able to quest around with friends from different alliances in One Tamriel.

How does that makes sense from an immersion perspective?

It's all in the RP, my friend. Seriously though, not everyone in opposing alliances hate each other. I've seen Argonians NPCs in the DC and Orc NPCs in the AD. Plus, not every character is going to be sold on the three banners war as a moral imperative for their alliance. Remember, characters were born in a country, not in an army.

That's gonna be interesting, to say the least.

Tenebrous said: @Patriarch Zeni has said that Group Dungeons will auto-level to the max level. And since I'm horrible at leveling, I think we should wait for One Tamriel to go live. Source: http://www.mmorpg.com/mobile/features.cfm?read=11193&game=821&ismb=1

I think you misunderstand his point. You will be auto-levled to max. Currently, there are two types of dungeons, normal and vet (even that is changing with One Tamriel). Normal dungeons (silver pledges) are for players who are levels 1-49. Vet dungeons (gold pledges) are for players who are levels 50 and above. I wouldn't take anyone from the Vault into a gold pledge, unless they were a bit more experienced (or brave).

One Tamriel changes that, yes. It will work like Cyrodiil - you get battle leveled to max for that dungeon or trial. Battle leveling means that your attributes, Health magicka or stamina, will be as if you were at the max level for that dungeon.

If you don't feel comfortable running dungeons yet, don't worry about it. I'm not trying to push you. :)

@Patriarch Aaah. Yeah, misunderstood then. OK, thanks for clearing that up.

Made a new char for the Covenant! Here we have Kasmakh gra-Magrlar, an Orc Nightblade archer. Her skill bar is as such: Strife (Siphoning), Assassin's Blade (Assassination), Poison Arrow (Bow), Agony (Siphoning) and Soul Trap (Soul Magic). Also, she has the Heroic Poet hair, because I wanted an Orc that wears it.

In other news, I unlocked Darath's second skill bar. So far, I've only replaced Sun Fire with Puncturing Strikes (Aedric Spear) and Silver Bolts with Shield Charge (One Handed and Shield). I eventually plan on replacing Deep Slash with Power Bash (One Handed and Shield) as well.

I play on the EU server on PC - I have two characters (Argonians of course!) I only play as my main character at the moment but I created a secondary character to try another class. I'm playing through the game mainly as a solo player but have done a couple of dungeons as most are very difficult if not impossible on your own, well at my current level and equipment anyway.

The thing that bugs me with the One Tamriel update is that you can now power through the main quest and finish it way too early. As soon as I leave the Harborage I get a notification to return more or less straightaway whereas before these didn't appear till you had reached a particular level. That kinda breaks the immersion for me.

    Main character; Gulum-Zeeus -

Ebonheart Pact, Dragonknight specialist in two handed weapons and heavy armour. Skills are mainly fighter's guild skills with a couple of skills from the Ardent Flame and Draconic power skill trees. Ultimate abilities; Dragonknight Standard & Ferocious Leap. Roleplay he is a long distant ancestor of my Skyrim character; he's a DragonKnight as I thought that would be more fitting for an ancestor to my Dragonborn character. How he came to be 'dead' is that he died fighting slavers in Shadowfen and ended up where he is.

    Secondary character Talen-Jei Caemus:-

Ebonheart Pact, Templar, no specialist skills yet. Started another character to try another build and I wasn't altogether happy with my main character's appearance; he's too short and looks like the top of his head is squashed although it's hard to see from the above screenshot. Here's a screenshot for now of my secondary character:-
